Notes About The Poem

Prince-Heir

based on a photo posted
on media today
of King Charles III

         bitty boy bored
wedged between babysitters -
        queen is celebrant…
prince-heir bides seventy years
beholden crowds cheer his crown

I saw that picture Kim, it touched my heart. I pray that little bitty boy now grown through those seventy years of life will be a good king. It is strange to see those precious little royal children throughout the years, and then the day that finally comes for them to rule. We need to remember to pray for them. I love your poem, it is perfect for that photo you speak of <3

That last line sure is a zinger, Kim. They cheer his crown, alright. Him? -- not so much. Great touch! :) gw

Thank you, Pangie! The world’s eye on certain things, uncertain what the change will bring.
