Giggle and Chuckle
Good morning dear friends, it's a brand new day
Put a smile on your kisser and warble away
You only go round once
So don't count the months
Just giggle and chuckle and enjoy it, I say...

The Wise Bird
Those eyes
Of the old owl
Open when stars awake
Tarry in peace in taproot trees
Around the absence of colorless nights
A warble of the question whooo...
Solemn and wise thinking
Nocturnal thoughts
Watching...

Song For a Carriage
Carriage of soul
Wanders alone
In thought. The bone
From rails creaking.
Nightingale dips
To warble, sing.
Hymns on upswing
Drive soul afire.

Bubbling
Bubbling
As I peeked inside a drum
Of beer brewed by mum
I espied exploding bubble
Like lips exuding warble!
There's something in yeast
(That inflate us to a Beast)
Fomenting guts to replete
Then at last dignity delete!

Ample Is the Rising Sun
Ample is the rising sun
That alights the furthest mountain –
A carmine drape upon every hill –
Exciting the birds to warble.
Ample, too, is the evening sun
That paints a nebulous curtain –
Quickly changing the palette until
Bringing the good day to shutter....

Warblers Warble
Once
dormant
seeds bloom in
white, red and pink
tulips with perfumed
primrose on a green quilt.
Basking in warmer weather,
warblers warble a sweet chorus,
perched on branches with fresh verdant leaves,
as nature revives its breath taking charm.

Love Songs
Nightingale, the full moon rises
sing me from the Sassafras:
mock the sounds of motors passing,
trill sweet of the small brook's flow,
warble out a troubadour's tale,
call my trembling dear to me.

What Is It We Call Life
What is is we call life?
A mash of parapsychological events,
Some that vessel sweetness and soul,
Some that conjure misery and toll
For our most unmoonlit moments
Can be most silvery and resplendent to another
Life and Time as it seems
Are but humming moments
Who warble the song of a whizzing dream...

I do not know?
My Friend the Magpie In the Morning Sun
Each morning I hear the warbling
As she sits in my tree
She greets the day in happiness
And when I go to water my plants
She follows me closely
I fill her bowl with cool water
Next I see her taking a drink
And she will take my offered bread
Then she sits in the tree
To warble the day in.

What Do I Know
What do I know!
What do you know!
And the sound’s,
Warble from church tower
And minaret
And the spring, river
And the wind
While continuing their flow
In the ground
What do they know?
And the spirits busy
Without even knowing they are!
And I who do not saw things
As you see it
How could I know things that have never been seen?...

Somewhere On Top
SOMEWHERE ON TOP
Breathing free, I behold--
sash-like fluffy blue clouds
hugging mountain-waists.
Nearby, terrace of trees greets
and falls that warble deep.

Sunset Red--Visual 2
When sunset red unfurls and glows
each beam an opal groove and veil,
till August floats in warm repose
when sunset red unfurls and glows.
The nightingales warble in rows
Bewitching hours as I exhale;
When sunset red unfurls and glows
each beam an opal groove and veil.

Cuddles, Gestures, Caresses
Cuddles are warble of affection
that without or with words apply,
magicians of light burst alone
that no exhortations we need...
Gestures that allow us to levitate
hands in energetic passes
ways that allow us to hover,
sane, saved believers not skeptical...
In sweet caresses become light,
in sweet caresses, pains are brief...!...

Crystal Dreams and Poetry
Crystal doorstep, crystal swing!
Carry me to our angels nest, made into our holy, twigged love-ring.
Where the softest of all gentlest raindrops,
May bless us under a silent, verdant, velvet, luxurious top.
Warble songs of sweetness to my most humble bowed head.
Do read me poetry, till God's silvered-moon ascends!

By Which P a T H
By which p a t h
Spring's delicate

ling hope?
For forgiveness
that eats upon
a grand table of
exquisite food?
By warble of mid-
day's waking noon?
As always, always
i see my mad companion
that follows me
within the meadow
upon quiet (so
quiet) nights --
my Moon!

Migrating
In early spring’s afterglow
Egrets head north as winds row;
Dwelling on lattice of plains
And coo warble mild refrains--
How migrant journey stirs on
When April wakes with delight
Until lull of morn is done--
A homecoming … our birds' rite !

River
On my way to river
With low- eyes, I turned around,
When you looked into my eyes-
Any lustre in my eyes shone!
Any smile!
Behold, the birds warble,
Behold wheat spikes
in the breeze, trembling,
Behold, like the dew,
on the grass, my heart,
Intone and shine.
On my way to river
When you looked into my eyes,
Hovering! my soul's bee around:
Do not shift your eyes, said!
Look at me again look.

Early In the Morning
Early in the Morning
Early in the morning..
When you return
Refreshed from golden spikes.
Come close where Nightingales warble
Holds my faint voice to thee
Come close when it returns with
your faint voice - to me
Early in the morning
when you return
Joyous like an old man
Let thy hands --
Touch me
Let the palm of thy hands
Touched my hands
When the dew of spikes -
drapes my grave
But be careful from the regret thorn....

Under the Sun
Dragonflies dart and hover over the gleaming water.
Hand on the tiller just idling along
watching for hawks coming out of the sun.
Good place for a smoke and a song
but there's just me and the dog to sing to
and he howls at me when I warble a tune.
My old lady will be fixing bacon soon
and the fish aren't interested in getting caught.
Yet I linger on here watching the scintillations
of flying dragons, not yet hungry enough
to end a daydream....
