the royal kingdom...
while we wallowed in the blood
...changed our hellish course

Expulsion
Through the front Mr. Jonah was swallowed.
In the sea monster’s belly he wallowed.
In the muck and the gas
unhygienic, alas,
was the back door expulsion that followed....

Crimes Unknown
Confused and often left alone,
usually for crimes unknown,
no dialtone on the telephone,
prayers prayed in monotone.

The Earth revolved under our feet,
while cracks widened in concrete,
we sensed our world was incomplete,
as they wallowed in deceit.

The Canvassers
When they wanted us
In the mildest of gaits
They came to us
With what we had not as baits

We settled on bags of rice and salt
Purchasing for our faces insult
For their baits we swllowed
And in their nets we wallowed

When for food we cast into a bin
Our voice or choice
Our all-important being
Worths not more than toys...

Her angels got bothered
After a long day she sits at the edge of her bed
tears in her eye wallowed in misery
every tear drop reminisce a forgotten nostalgia
she heaves heavily trying to catch her breath
or was she trying to catch her soul?
and again that night
her room witness a mad wailing of her voiceless screams
badly wanted to be heard
that even her angels got bothered...

Cheater's Chair
A destructive dance indeed,
betwixt the two we bleed.
A bellowing, bloody abate,
this stale, seductive state.

Simple, senseless steeds,
jealous fires feed.
Perjuring petty plights,
demons do delight.

A crimson, cheaters chair,
awful angers air.
No trust, truth or taste,
wallowed wantons waste.

Envious, eager eyes,
rejoicing a wrathful rise.
Coveting, careless couth,
yesteryear's eager youth....

Carolina Pines
Turned it loose and got drunk
As a smelly old skunk
On disgusting cheap wine
In the Carolina pines

Shot guns at thin air
(Who the heck gonna' care?)
Weren't it fun, weren't it fine
In the Carolina pines?

Then we REALLY got clobbered
We staggered and slobbered
We wallowed like swine
In the Carolina pines

(In the morning we grieved
We hocked and we heaved
We whimpered and whined
In the Carolina pines)

Premium Member Warned
scheming and deceitful
it prowled shrouded
early in the morning
but there pretending
to not hear its warning
he closed his eyes
not to see the signs
when the clouds of darkness
wallowed in unfaltering
he couldn’t slow its roar
or ease the quivering
the disruption
the devastation
the teeter tottering
of invisible bowling pins
in rumbling chaotic raucus
tumbling down as rose the sun

Strife
Today is the first day of the rest of my life,
until now I've survived by strife,
I've battled my fair share of demons and suffered their wrath,
took a mighty hard fall and couldn't make it back
false pride kept me spiralling and spiralling down
I wallowed in self pity when I finally hit the ground
with the realisation, I was to blame
I dug myself a hole to hide in shame
guilt kept me dormant in my shallow grave
my pathetic existence is not worthy to save....

Love Is Signed To Lies
Awake from a slumber
Raise head above parapet.
You then stand stock-still, a sad
Sorry being.

Live your days
And soon months as a shadow.
An unreachable figure.

Why speak? You're not profound
Do not dream as a Rimbaud,
Or long for a Verlaine.
It's the ending you fear.

That time passed speaks off a yearning
And wallowed in romance. Love becomes
A strange thing that twists and cuts.

For what we call love
Is but the shudder of lust
On any youth's shoulder....
