Now That We'Re Born
Afar, world's harmless attraction
Hazy; a dream upbourne on.
Getting too close; now involved in.
Unnerved of its vibration....

that day we met
crashing cars
unnerved neurons
parade floats carry old

His brother
  a stroke
at the airport
  Come quick

Unnerved, shaken
  arrived in a tick

Took one look
  turned aside
  ashen-faced, said ~

"God has just spoken
  to silence we are wed"...

Unnerved
Desires and hopes are strong
When plunging into a task headlong
always fear of failure comes along
Restricting us ,for fulfillment we long.

Fear is a slinking cat Is find beneath the lilacs of my mind.

Conscience In Brain Nawed and Nawed

More Good Morning Joe comments.

Things by Trump daily are badly flawed;
Teeth of truth into  he has often sawed;
Were unnerved;
Guilty observed;
On our conscience he nawed and nawed.

Wandering Forest Elf
I'll take his walks
But not his ways.
Rugged for each, rung through
Old woodsman's days.

I'll track what cries
For peace, hawk-climbed
In that soothing, stream-breathed
Mountainy thymed.

While bypassing
Unnerved by, mourned
Legends echo, in both felled
Branched grandeur; horned....

Anxiety
It creeps
It stalks the mind
A sludge of shaded emotion
A recipe of apprehension and fear
A menu of worry and concern
Ready to be served
Anxiety

It sleeps
It takes its’ time
A ship at rest on the ocean
A whistle away, always near
Engines always ready to churn
Keeping me unnerved
Anxiety...

UNNERVED

a fresh grave, gravelly dug,
collar gathered and put upon.

the doghouse, below the gloam,
godforsaken with a gaping hole.

guard of gray-glass, at midnight,
hardly hinders gathering ghosts.

unnerved fear grips my sleep,
gangly bedroom curtain grieves.

Those Letters Unspared
Often accused of abusing the words,
  I stand guilty here as charged

Their purpose to serve my feelings unnerved,
  when into the darkness I bard

Used as a shield, my will not to yield
  their ink splattered blood stains aglow

No guilt do I bear for those letters unspared
  —as their corpses define what I know

There is a tapping at my window.
At first, i think it to be
a ghostly vizard
commanding my attention
with long, crooked fingers waving,
greeting me as an old friend.

The more i stare, the more i am unnerved,
but as the wind eases,
the tapping eases too,
and the storm of my thoughts settles.
Provoked by the frightful breeze,
you are but a humble tree....

Fate
Pax Americana,
The legend of the land.
Old opportunity
Is all that we demand.

Randomness observed.
It must have been for all.
Masses entrenched.
They did not change their stall.

Privileged people
Believed in their worth.
Natural consequences
Earned upon their birth.

Rarest humility,
Wealthy one unnerved.
Obvious conclusion,
Ease is undeserved....

Leaving Him In '98
I broke something precious;
smashed Ming against the door;
trampled on shards of shattered vow;
unnerved, I ask to go.

Release me from your want,
from cloying, needful coils;
let me run against the current;
please, I ask to go.

This guilt will not contain me;
still your tears will stain my heart;
I loved you once for kindness;
killed with such, I ask to go....

Numb
I feel numb
                        To believe you liked me was dumb
I can't complain
                         I got what I deserved
I feel so unnerved
                         It's like a bad dream
Someone wake me up
                          Please
I'm lost,
                         Help me
Who can I trust?
                         I have to realize that life just sucks...

Resurrection From the River.
One golden eye glowers, proud Poseidon deigns lift
the scored shards of malice where mere mortals sift.
Becalm unnerved waters, cleanse steel gray to green
before sanity shatters with one glimpse of this scene.
Surge forth healing rivers, bathe stunned souls to heal
Sweep clean filthy flotsam, let no grim grime congeal.
Stout salt of forbearance, restore what had once been
Sure embrace, stalwart prince, lest it happen again....

Seriously Superb
Seriously Superb
03/08/2018

Seriously I need of this ugly whirlybird,

Uncontrolled thoughts, seriously disturbed.

Round they go totally unperturbed,

Too many thoughts, too many words.

Detox, withdrawal, whatever you’ve heard,

Leaves you agitated, anxious, wholly unnerved.

I’ll fly off the handle and show you the Bird,

My thoughts are whack, jumbled and stirred.

Yet this insanity won’t last I’m assured,

And soon one day I’ll be feeling superb....
