to unmask myself
an old reprobate
with a bit of pride

Tisket and Tasket In Basket
Tisket and Tasket in Basket

There was this tisket and then a tasket;
President Trump can we ever unmask it?
Sure such a sorry sort;
Deserves no support,
And all of his bull could fill a big basket.

Then Another Tasket
Then Another Tasket

There was this tisket then another tasket;
Suppose what we should do is unmask it;
Shall sell us short;
Lends no support;
Burned up Trump;
More Trump BS he pulled out of a basket.

Jim Horn

Libertas
The present is in your future,
the present in your past
The present a sacred mystery,
its moment to unmask
The present is in your memory,
the present in your dreams
The present neither begins nor ends
—eternity set free

Twin Forks
Some will find out who they are
then write of what they’ve found

And some will write to unmask
who they are as they expound

One spawns introspection
and a self-deliberate tone

The other births a magic ride
—whose terminus unknown

(Dreamsleep: April, 2021)...

What I Always Knew
You always knew
there was more for you
yet you were always
afraid to ask

You always knew
that you did'nt fit in
yet you knew that
someday you'd unmask

You always knew
you would overcome
yet you weren't sure
you'd rise to the task

Yet rise to the task
you did to unmask
and ask for what
you always knew...

Show Me Your Mask and Ill Show You Mine
The mask's that unmask unbridled seems of gold
All wrapped in sullen shrouds of matted purple
Manifest my dreams driven by engines with plumes of wantoned steam
Following the piston leader score there sleeves in disbelief
1, 2, 3, 4 mesmerized by the coal that glow morphing into embers
Till not a solitary soul can remember...

Monument
A pithy moon
climbs
on a skull
to unmask the alien,
blacker than coal.

A pregnancy reduction
was needed
to prune out
the motor plan of the moving
target, who had-

a neural circuitry
for obstructing
the light. Can you
transcend a prude who will not
accept a celibate ?

Not so sad, a beautiful face
abandons the darkness.

Madness hurls crude voice
Unleash a clear poise

Do not live in vain
Unveil the truth plain

Mad moments cause hurt
Undo pain and dirt

Dare live each day's lot
Unmask the true plot

Meek and mild ways urge
Unwind with calm surge

Do sculpt a fine heart
Unseen soul lives art

It's a Sham
Oh, what a Sham, a fragile charade..
A hollow masquerade we choose to parade.
Truth submerged in the depths of deceit..
Masks of deception, veiling hearts deplete.

In the shadows we dance, oblivious to the game..
But within the Sham, souls suffer in shame.
Dare we unmask, reveal our truest self?
Or forever be lost... beyond reach... beyond help?...

To My Most Magnificent Lady, Oluwapemi, Her Dimples
On her rosy cheeks
they jiggle gently, and tend to
unmask the veiled serendipity
in her adamant heart...
While her puzzled mind
readily betrays the grimace
her blackrimmed eyes,
lustrous like twin stars had faked.
Deeper they wriggle on both sides
and blend into her sunken hollow
as her head sways
as if to rekindle the expressions
on her delicate face....

Unmask the fool
Who openly dishonors
What love really is
And who suffers from it

Who openly says that
Who suffers from no love
From it he shall die
What love could he have
Openly dishonors everyone
Unmask-ing the truth
The fool only loves pain
Love really is more powerful
Than all of this

Who Am I?
Who Am I?
I'm just a channel for the flow of streaming
light
Am I high?
Yes I am, but have come low for this earthly
fight
In disguise?
Absolutely for all things we see are but a
shell
Will I rise?
Of course you will & this isn't hard for me to
tell
Who Am I?
I'm just a mirror showing you new versions of
yourself
In disguise?
Absolutely, I've come to unmask the unknown
of inner self...

Amuse the muse
Just light the fuse

Blow up your mind
In visual find

Muse in quick flick
Flips a flame stick

Here on a trip
Work a wise grip

Amuse the sad
Discern the bad

Glad grabs a pull
Stern maps a fool

Muse you amuse
Touch can diffuse

Words in swift flight
Can bring crisp light

See then to tasks
That help unmask

Returning Favour
Will pursue
the star killed by a limb.
A black hole
is going to devour him.

What was ahead now
in the sea of reverse pain ?
You were knocking out
your own creation.

In the hunger’s wake
will you stop eating your own
words and say something
of the locked doors of eyes ?

I cannot sing the scars
and unmask the fires.
It is gratifying when you are silent,
and still you are heard.

Red Regain
Red is the colour of danger,
sometime you becomes changer.
You stand alone and can speak,
I saw you in his eyes,
that day was a bise.
You on my forehead stands
as a mark of all commands
that cause me a brands.
You who runs in me and
others is being shunned
in the name of caste that
leads to war in elate.
You are seen in rising bask
that you also stand unmask.
You are there everywhere
like a concessionaire....

Could this be hell?
Peering faceless eyes
Virtue signals
Stop – Go – Stay
Mask – Unmask
Kindergarten rules
Get in line
No talk – No touch – no smiles
Recess for one
No running, jumping, shouting
No spontaneous expression of joy
Lest it offend someone
Stand on the marked spots
Follow the arrows
No sharing – of anything
No homework
Because you’d have to take it home
And bring it back.

S. C. A. Miracle Man July 19, 2021 From the bed of death I once returned, because God had an unfinished work for me. He bestowed more life, and it unearned, I’m alive today by the King’s decree. With death angel stayed, others saw His greatness, as a surgical team faced a near hopeless task. God blessed the Doctors with a great sedateness, and any who disbelieved God did unmask. Midnight Highjacker
Unknown spirit of the night
Hostile, take over of the flight
Hostages of war, and prisoners with no delight
We fly through out the endless night
Destination unknown, security gown
We cannot see the coming of the morning light
Masking the darkness we put up a good fight
Defeat the cold dark night
We cannot find the light
Unmask the traitor of the night
Surrender and quit the fight
Relax, it's just midnight
Highjacker of the mindless night...

Undressing Is Painful
Stood as tallest,

Looking towards the sky

Glancing the world surround,

Abode for many,

Mess for the world

bunk room for any,

Embodiment of kindness

Staining is a hobby at intervals,

Green is most favorite,

Also like to dress in red and yellow!

To the world,

Me and my friends cry for one thing

To make up us , keep us more charm,

It’s painful to unmask our green clothes!

To the brilliant minds,

Please,

Don’t undress us…!...

(A Triple Cameo)

I backed
out of the garage,
glanced at the Alberta spruce tree
and paused,
delighted to see it framed by
a halo of crystal light
from rain.

Surprise
nighttime visitors,
in toil until the break of sun,
spin and spin
to weave gossamer funnel homes
then retreat and wait to catch
a bug.

Like Ice,
crystal moisture drops
sparkle in avant-garde sunrays,
to unmask
delicate funnel spider webs
that cling to the top of each
seed pod....
