Could This Be Hell

Could this be hell?
Peering faceless eyes
Virtue signals
Stop – Go – Stay
Mask – Unmask
Kindergarten rules
Get in line
No talk – No touch – no smiles
Recess for one
No running, jumping, shouting
No spontaneous expression of joy
Lest it offend someone
Stand on the marked spots
Follow the arrows
No sharing – of anything
No homework
Because you’d have to take it home
And bring it back.

They say that 'There's no such thing as Heaven on Earth.' Haven't heard the same said of Hell. I think you've nailed it, John. Bravo, gw

John, I think it can be if one chooses to make it so. I prefer to roll along with the tide, knowing it ebbs and flows, it comes, it goes! Cheer up!
