Old boulder
I've been yearning
to know the winds routine
I've learnt your skyward motion
put away your chemise
unburden your soul
soon you will be sailing
running aground
is there disarray
to cut away this old boulder ?

Unburden Your Soul
Unburden you’re soul
Get back control
From everything in your head
Racing around and creating dread

Do you feel it biting away
Always always wanting it’s say
But get rid of it now
And you will find the know how.

Go to the shoals
Seeing through dreams
spoil your eyes
Time is your enemy
calling your name
the sound is deep
the lasting stars
always the same ghosts
haunt you
go to the shoals
to the mer
unburden the choices you made
the thickets cant defeat you

And Be Gone
You’ll know when its time…
you won’t fight it
or struggle,
you won’t lie to yourself
—or try to hang on

You’ll let everything go
as it’s time to unburden,
your mind and your spirit,
your heart
—and be gone

Like all things, my days in this wilderness and all it encompasses will end. Until then, I choose to unburden my spirit; I will love, cry, laugh and play as hard, long and as often as I can believing his word, light alone will comfort and lead me home. ~*~

Owl hooting "Who you"?
Pack of wolves howl at the moon.
So alive, twilight.
I imbibe all sounds with glee.
May this night last forever!

My Anguish
I could give up on you.
Let lying to myself.
Become as comfortable
as an old blanket.
Unburden my eyes
of your shape,
of your smile.
For dreams are for the dreamers.
So I would drudge in reality.
Lose myself in the geography
of my mind.
Yes I could do all of that
but for the fact.
I love you....

Premium Member Good Cry
Let it all out have a good cry
I won't rush to wipe those tears dry
Unload your sadness it's a start
Unburden so your heavy heart

Melancholy is for the birds
Express your feelings into words
Talk it over and you'll find out
Better days lie ahead no doubt

Four Haiku For the Spirit
4 Haiku for the spirit

To fly far away
Let clouds absorb unhappiness
 Tears a summer lake

Haiku
Melancholy
Unburden my heart of grief
Leave as morning fog

Haiku
As an eagle soar
Weightless for a second
As an oak leaf falls

Haiku
The burden of mist
Obscuring dawn`s brilliance
Silent is the house...

Lays before me, a quilt of calico. Deep and soft, spilt upon the woodland path. Born of crimson kites with golden hues, cast, as trees unburden, prepare for sleep. Scents sweeten the sip of Autumn's blaze, that tender nip of frosted morn. Melding earth, sun and rain upon the wind, made worth, the heady anticipation.

Of Love and Life and Pain
Life, you're a little more long tonight
a blast through a soft fleeting light
too fast, too soon, gone out sight

Love, you're a little forlorn tonight
a chill, but still, grasping for light
once tight, but now shaken with fright

Forefather's warm these strains
unburden me of my visceral pain
dare to make life, alive again...

Slow Down
Slow down your moving far too fast
Lead gently and i will follow
Speeding does not erase the past
Do not rush into tomorrow
Unburden the heavy sorrow
We must build our trust again
Aching hearts can become hollow
For now, just let me be your friend

Premium Member Take
Take from me my leisure
Take from me my gold
Feed me with hunger
Bleed me with cold

Give me nothing but a shanty shack
To unburden my weary soul

Just allow me the love of my woman
The honest embrace that erases the day
Into the fulfillment of sweet touches of night

Take from me all of the earth
Leave me my world in her arms...

Wayward Pilgrim
Thou wayward pilgrim
Oh come rest thy weary soul
Down by the river Jordan

Thou wayward pilgrim
Unburden thine heavy load
Rest by the river of life

Oh wayward pilgrim
lift your dimmed eyes toward home
Oh what happiness awaits!

Oh wayward pilgrim
in yonder distance joy waits
Jerusalem, home sweet home

Unfolding
deep within the dimly lit bush
totara trees, tall and straight
envelop the tangled undergrowth
            roots and leaf mold
                    cool damp earth

ahead
caught in a patch of sunlight
the bright green fern frond
unfolding

Heaven
Solace for long sought;
Pivot to unburden this burden
A rhythm to hearten this disheartened heart
Smile to light this dreary face
Many ‘havens’ turned not;
Without peace eagerly needed
To unwrap this trapped self
From matters of earth that broke life
And she heard of Heaven and neared;
A haven true to its name

HIS TALE
He pressed onward
Unsure of his destination,
Smiling as the storm intensified—
Tearing at the sails, loosening the rudder.
His smile was not born of humor
But from recognizing his own strength
In the face of adversity.
"It's a beautiful chaos," he remarked
When questioned about his calm.
For he understood
That to unburden oneself
Is to find relief.

Becoming Light
Open your Heart ..

Forgiveness .. is a State of Being .. a letting go of everything ..

When you understand .. you will forgive everyone .. for everything.

Including yourself ..

Surrender and Accept ..

You will unburden yourself of everything ..

You will become Light ..

It is a State of Being ..

Open your Heart ..

It is but a State of Being ..

While Youre Away
Soft as the wind,
his touch I feel,
when he's away, still so real.
Like a song I should sing,
unburden my heart,
keepsakes my baby,
never too far.
A rose, it shall whisper,
his words,
lullaby,
keep talking, I hear it,
so soft and so shy.
The breath of my love,
I take in so deep,
a soul that is tender,
and never to keep.
Embracing a memory,
before it should fade,
be real my baby,
just for today....

The Joy of Spring
Beauty fills the meadows,
Hope no longer lingers in the shadows,
Every day feels like a fresh start,
As budding flowers greet the sun's warm heart,
There’s a lavish display of colours.

The fragrance of spring’s blossoms fills Mama’s room,
Gone is the gloom of yesterday’s doom,
She spends her leisure time in the garden,
Saying it helps her exhale and unburden,
The glory of spring brings so many blessings....

Let's Fall In Love
If ever you’re giving your heart away,
I'm first in queue.
If ever you’re ready to surrender to love,
I will submit with you.
If ever you want to conquer mountains of destiny,
I will climb with you.

I see divine tendencies in you,
let me submerge in it.
Unburden your fears,
show me your vulnerabilities
don't remain taciturn
We can unpack together.

I feel your soul,
It illuminates my darkness.
Let’s fall in love fearlessly....

Golden Oldie
The kids have all grown and moved out on their own
I can now be a senior with ease

But as I get older, unburden my shoulders
the help I once gave I now need

What has happened to me? I flaunt apathy
I’m becoming my parents I fear

I’ve ditched rock and roll for the daily news show
and prefer jasmine tea to a beer

A concert for me, well, used to be
A summer of fun at Red Rocks

And now my idea of fun for a night
is taking my dog for a walk...
