Congratulations, Janice especially now that I have had my morning infusion of caffeine and world is no longer blurry! This poem is so delightful and resonates with so many of us! Don't talk to me until I've had my morning ration of caffeine! Though not a coffee drinker, tea also does the trick! As Snoopy says: "I think I'm allergic to morning!" Truly Garfield is the sage of our age with his lasagna obsession (me too!) and his demand for the morning elixir of life! This humorous gem is pure am delight Janice. Best wishes for the contest. Sam, thank you for this great response. Mountain Dew has quite a bit of caffeine--for those who don't love coffee OR tea. I agree with your praise of Garfield! Janice
