When Gabriel sounds the trumpet
There'll be no time for crumpets
You'll stand and wait
At the Pearly Gate
But you won't be able to jump it
palette of color
gifted wings perch on sunshine
desires no cages
lucky hummingbird
parading past trumpet vines
a nimble flier
The 'Sax' and 'Trumpet'
That 'Trane' ran for four big 'Miles'
Through the 'Big Fifties'
Improvisation 'So Cool'
Driving jazz to a new day
The sun's rays blare impatiently
a trumpet at my window
Their jars and jolts of dissonance
a workingman's overture's crescendo
now will have power

all around
citi and town
there' br trumpet sounds
you're turn over in
YOUR BED
THESE DAYS AHEAD
RISE YOU UP--
come up and praise Him
as the sound of the trumpet
Him who rise you up

The cock sounds its trumpet
inviting azuri maids to a duet
darkness slips away,
stealthily-silently
provoking the anger
of a sleepless sun.
We will go Home, beyond the stars,
Ascend and soar, above the skies;
Trumpet will call, and we will respond;
We will go Home, 'Salem on high..
A salesman helped gal with a shoe
When sound of a trumpet broke through
I’m sorry she said
As her face turned red
But salesman laid dead from the pew
Morning Glories twine
the trellis in blue splendor
While the Daffodils
tickle the feet of the vines
with golden trumpet fingers

No trumpet blew, yet thunder came,
From streets once hushed, now lit with flame.
A tyrant's crown was cast away,
By barefoot hearts who dared to stay.
go lovely rose
thus give your heart
unto this world and
be a trumpet blared
for all young lovers
to declare
that do not know
what price
we pay for love
In my dreams in a journey to heaven,
I see clouds written with Golden
words with a simple touch, and the sound
of a trumpet nearby guiding me to my
Lords kingdom.

WIDOW WARRIORS
Flags trumpet the depths of sorrow,
As slow steps mirror wretched tears.
Loved ones shell, overflown with grace,
As widow warriors pick up the fight.
Poetry to me is my legacy
Poems I write to live on endlessly
So like it or lump it
I’ll blow my own trumpet
And leave them to historic supremacy.
With seductive guile, they play a mournful dirge for their unwary prey.

With gutteral blows
He leads the pack
Warbles like a tuba
And lacks no gumption
To deliver the next line
Like a setting sun
Only to trumpet again
