Never heard of these flowers before, very bizarre. Your words were ample for describing the scene of them snapping up their prey ... I wonder what would happen if you put your finger in it?

Hi Timothy! Though I had read about these flowers, I have not seen any in real life; I have a feeling they would not be bothered with our fingers:) usually they go after flies, bees, etc. Txs for stopping by...paul

Dear Paul Thanks for the Krampus review my friend lol I'm not reading this one to my grandchildren either, OMG I wrote it because it's a christmas legend and you know how much I love history, and a friend of mine at work challenaged me also. But thanks goodness it's over with, and back to the happy holiday poetry, this poem of your s is a sweet change, love the pic also, this makes me think of the spring to come, thanks for the seasonal warmth my dear friend, cheri

Lovely of you to stop by with pleasant banter, Cherl:) The Krampus is a must read, but best for an older audience. Glad you enjoyed my one-liner; my carnivorous flowers can be both beautiful and unforgiving. ~ All the best. // paul
