I wasn't thrilled at all because
they were the ones I'd sent to her...

He went to rob a bank,
With knickers on his head.
The clerk was rather frank:
‘I hope they’re clean,’ she said.
Based on a true story - I don't think he was ever caught.

She slept upon a bench,
Her snores annoyed a guy.
He told her to shut up,
And stabbed her in the eye. *

Some doc sold a dancer named Bubbles
A new set of fourty-four doubles
Men whistled and lusted
She slipped and they busted
But got Workman's Comp for her troubles

Andrea Gail
lost
*For Royal's Favorite Movie contest. The Perfect Storm was
based on a true story. The Andrea Gail and its crew were
never found.
Poor dog, yard bound to do as she pleases,
to find fun in dull times such as these-es,
with a dramatic paw wave,
became a hunter so brave,
as she stamped out her victims, the bees-es.
A young man who plays the piano.
Came into the church, bench sit down on.
And what he did spy
Would catch any eye.
His zipper was opened so wide, Oh!
*True story Limerick
This young man who played the piano.
Knew something had to be done pronto!
So during the prayer
When no one's aware.
He zipped pants right up with a gusto!

She sat on her butt for a year
Eating cookies, pretzels and beer
Now looked at the scale
And started to wail
God, look at the size of my rear

Sadly, a true story
Let’s give him the nickname of Sayles.
In suit, he does chomp at his nails.
Preoccupied schlub
gnaws down to the nub.
A shame as he chews at details.

Once I wrote a really good poem
My teacher wrote
‘Lightning doesn’t strike twice, Sam’
A 'D' in the course spurred my belated reply ~
‘I know, ma’am’

Now there once was a youngster named Jake
So ornery he made his folks quake
Santa left coals in his shoes
Giving young Jake Christmas blues
Who then forever tantrums forsake
There once was a lady named Vickie,
Whose eating habits were quite picky.
She preferred her sweet treats,
To vegetables and meats,
Saying, "Healthy foods are just too icky!"

I’ve a son who once lived in Manhattan
Against all storms the hatches he’d batten
Mamdani came to power
My son’s resilience soured
Mamdani's hatches he boldly spat on
True Story
They didn't like me at the school
They didn't like me at the pool
They didn't want me on the street
They didn't want me on two feet
It took some time, 'till I grew tall
Now they want me after all
Romantic dreams were shattered when
They roamed the sheet in search of food
And hunted on the pillowcase;
The bedbugs spoilt the loving mood…*
