Why My Son Left Manhattan - True Story

Mamdani's wife left the country for the 4th of July -- went to an Islamic retreat I believe. Go figure.

Think she loves this country? She hates it with a passion. She's open about it, whereas her snake of a husband tries to cover up his true feelings.

Yes this rewrite brings the limerick into shape. I really like this tongue in cheek ending much better.

Possibly a comma, could fix the way last line is read. The limerick is very good though.

You are right, Alison. Thanks... I went ahead and fixed the last a line by rewriting it, however. I think it's better now. What say you?
