To ease the damage from love’s withdraw
Here’s a remedy I learned from Pa:
Use alcohol as your wrecking ball

I'll tell my secret
so that everyone knows...
I can't write at all!

Teri Yaaden Mirch Ki Tarah Teekhi Hain
Jab Bhi Aati Aankhen Nam Kar Jaati Hain
Roz Main Tumko Cheeni Kha Ke Sochta Hun.
A fox in socks
plays with a box
upon her head, she has gold locks.

I watch my child at night
Before I turn off the light
To me, there's no greater sight
Contest – Triplet

come, my child, let me hold you tight,
so I can keep you warm tonight.
I pray God ends our homeless plight.

If we, would unworldly be
knowledge thereof,first must see-
seiving wisely,sets us free
Inspired by Rom 12:2 in a Shakespeare triplet form
sea is turbulently stormy this darkened night
eyes watch in awe, wonder and fright
anchor secured holds passenger ship tight ~
in orange-glow mist
trees look upward to their Sun
and softly exhale

Received 3rd place in "Triplet" contest
The chilling snow is falling down on me
I freeze in the frigid cold air
Coldness blocks any thoughts

Wounded, woeful woman.
Hostage of hindered hope.
Yowling, yearning, for you.

A May day’s golden light of early dawn
has fallen, spreading slowly on my lawn. . .
my melancholy winter thoughts are gone.
A triplet for Brian Strand's Contest "Whatever"
DON'T CRY OR DIE
weep not, dear friend, and do not fear
turn back,open the door,come near-
hope,peace,joy,life..then..will appear
inspired by Robert Herricks poem and luke 23:28
The OB doctor had feverishly yelled orders in vain
only the nurses trying to save the last triplet remain
Laboring mom in agony trying to cope
Her heart bleeding love without hope
Those we love won't go away
They walk beside us every day
Having a smile on face each day
We always treasure every time
Making them like a dime
But not treating them like a lime
Creative thoughts in silence thrive,
Artistic endeavors then come alive,
Igniting poetic passion's drive.

The way the moon faithfully spans across the sky-- does prove He
designed the lunar path to be elliptical -- how groovy --
and blessed --we are-- to get this nightly panoramic "movie"
