Sad but true story years ago/ however, hope did come back with 2 beautiful children for a daughter I love

Inspired by Sara Kendrick's contest. Love without hope brought back this memory.

Love Without Hope

The OB doctor had feverishly yelled orders in vain
only the nurses trying to save the last triplet remain
Laboring mom in agony trying to cope
Her heart bleeding love without hope

This is tragic, Shirley. I can't imagine the feeling ... it happens all too often, but at least the other two made it through okay. Heart-breaking :( Congrats on you win in the contest ... poetry based on reality always makes for the more hard-hitting stuff.

Your poem was awesome, creative and unique. You did a wonderful job with the topic “Love Without Hope” ..Congratulations on your placement..Sara I don't know what you went through but to lose a child would be a very hard experience to go through.
