On a tree house near the road
Here I sit to write my piece
Tries to lay down my heavy load
How I cherish the times like this

My
mother's
apple pie
straight from oven
smiling memories of her warm kitchen
frowning, the pie had disappeared from view
in the tree house
three bad boys

what I want for chirstmas is,
some lego monster fighter sets,
and the skylander pop fiz
I would also like epic micky 2,
and maybe magic tree house books,
and what about a playmobil zoo
We are selected by a family
we will finally have a home
we tour the place, and it's amazing
tree house, dollhouse, multi acre yard
We'll give you a call said the "parents"
but they never did

Etched in sand among distant shores,
buried treasure, and rum soaked kisses;
Tree house surrounded by an island breeze
the unfinished lines tasting of sea salt;
You are exactly what I need
to complete the timeless tale I am writing.
My brain screams broken glass
program edits my thoughts
faster than I type
blood boils
burning holes in my heart
your up draft
put me in a tailspin
and this tree house
deserted jungle island
lifestyle
makes me stir crazy with every passing second
Woody Woodpecker happily pecks in his tree-house decent,
mean landlady Meany evicts him, for he doesn’t pay the rent.
So, he plans his antics, stops real estate to sprawl in his forest,
tricks Lance, the harassed lawyer, to gift him a new tree-nest.

There is a faerie tree house deep in the forest woods they say
I did not believe it my first sixty years, but then I found it one day
When you see something ethereal and magical with your own eyes
It is no longer satisfactory to call the so-called rumors – ridiculous lies.

missed the contest but I thought Id post anyway
true story..frowns soon turned to laughter
especially my mother's
Owl tree house in the morning
Owl tree house at night.
Owl tree house, wrens are horning.
A marvelous interesting sight.
Where did it come from? A meadow lark said.
He wondered if he was somehow seeing it in his head.
Owls are nocturnal, so it makes no sense during the day.
Yet here was the proof, an owl tree house in May
a man and woman
walking on separate paths –
children scream loudly
rose petals falling
as flowers die on the vine –
three boys pricked alone
weeping willow trees
shroud their twisted trunks with limbs –
tree house and laughter
early in the day
sun shines above the frog pond –
boys, buckets, and nets

As I depart from the
trail and into the
bushes I go.
Robin's tree house right
above my head, so many
fine birds, four or five I see.
Such a charming bird,
sounds coming from
them so gentle.
Robin's tree house by
the pond, but
hidden so well.
Goodbye my robin
chums, until
another grand day.

Smart, pretty, annoying, secretivebranches
Wishes to go to the Canary Islands
Dreams of finding a Megalodon tooth
Wants to go cage diving
Who wonders if she build an underwater city
Who fears of being stung by a bee
Who likes blue
Who loves peacocks and nudibranches
Who wants a tree house and a pet shark
Who resides in NC

If you did not have a tire swing or a tree house
You never lived, you never lived
You have no idea how marvelous your life could have been
If you did not fling your feet onto the roof of a shed
With your heart doing triple time
Hoping your mother would not catch you
If you never sneaked into an empty school house
And pried the fire escape open, and slid down in summer
You never lived, you never lived.
I have a second house
The tree house
Me and my friends likes to play in it
Even my friends are only a little bit
It is fun to play with them
As happy as you got a gem
But sadly
We have no more energy
The electricity was broken
It already happen
We cant fix it
Like your getting hit
But that’s fine
Cause the owner of the electricity have to pay the fine
For Ruining the fun
While we’re eating a bun.
Timeless
Being inside of a forest
Trees, they’re all around
My house is within
The confines that bewilder
The hide-away
Timeless
The trees worship
The house that they surround
Open to life’s air
My house sits high
Above the caressing fields
Timeless
The trees evolve
Like the highest object
Within the forest
The trees hide
My humble building
One that finds the trees
Timeless

DAD'S TREE HOUSE
When I dream of Santa,
of course, you are he
stacking my presents
under the tree.
Even though I plotted
how I could catch you,
sleep came so sudden
that I never met you.
But as I grew older
those things I forgot.
You wanted my life now,
every dream, every thought.
I laughed, I smiled at you,
but I was not free
for the world was your tree house
where you could hide me.

If I had to choose Robin Hood, Robinson Crusoe or Peter Pan?
Hmm……
What a quandary.
What a plight.
I truly do not think I can.
I will never grow up, so I have the Peter Pan part down, furiously.
I have always yearned for my own island, and a giant tree house, curiously.
Wouldn’t I love to steal from the rich who have already stolen from the poor?
This choice cannot be done. I need a part of all of them, forever more.
Tree house is a house of forefathers
Roses beautify bed together
Enlisting its use which no one bother
Empty envy, loving hearts rather
Humidify the clay moulded by porter
Oath we should take either
Useful for future said by author
sensible use which do not destruct weather
Eternal joy of protecting it is wonder.

Everyday as i pass the old tree
i compare myself to the limbs
branches hanging lower now
leaves dropping and bark scarred
the deep roots un-earthed
tree house fallen
glory days
lost in
time...

A tree house high within the leaves
A crowd of friends to cheer you on
While sun shines high within the sky
And birds nearby do sing their song
The buzzing laughter of the bees
Is noise as silence fills the room
While friends, they stare and wait their turn
Watch a face that smiles, turn to gloom
And then the fork, it so descends
Unto the waiting open lair
To take them out and place on tongue
Because just one had dared to dare
Went by robin's tree house,
this morning, stopped by
to listen to wonderful
sounds they send out.
Such a warm welcome
they gave me, so
many of them spoke
to me, as I listened,
with a close ear,
cool air on this
fine day, makes
them so happy.
We say our good byes,
soon they will depart
Lowell ponds for
warmer places.
As I said "Goodbye
my friend," to a robin
on a branch, he looked
me in the eye and,
gave me a chirp.

My mitten was lost, so I did not know it was found.
By the tree house mouse, who was delighted all around.
He had turned it into a sleeping bag, high off the ground
He loved its beauty, this mouse named Henry Higgins Hound.
I love your beauty, he said to mitten which was quite pretty.
He played his guitar on it, and he sang songs that were witty.
I kept the mate, shaking my head, saying “what a pity!”
Not realizing the other mitten was well-loved by Henry, an itty-bitty.
