Patient fingers skillful
Play ballerina notes
Press of staccato keys
Performing thousand rhythms
Poignant and sweet octaves
Pristine tinkling of chords

Blue Evening Wonderings

I'm a treble clef answer to a bass clef groan.
I'm a chipped Russian pitcher to a stereophone.
I'm integrity seeking and heart strung in sleep
I'm praying you know me and morality keep...

Duplicitous Exchange

One day, a trout approached a fly,
and, giving her a hungry eye,
said, "I just came to take a look",
but I must tell you, with a sigh,
that, sadly, some fishes baldly lie,
and this one caught a treble hook.

Bleeps Bassoon

in bleeps bassoon, we find
character and creativity
and from each detail it
 soughta brings the bass
and treble together
cause together we one
bad mutta ( shout yo mouth)!
Bleeps and bleepers
stand to sing
the bleepin song!

Oliver Toliver Goliver Snipe

Oliver Toliver Goliver Snipe
Was a big lizard who was fairly ripe
His pink and red top hat brought plenty of hype
Some were so jealous they began to gripe
The treble, the cleft, the tooth, and the tripe,
I thought he was adorable with his blue green back stripe.

Unfinished Songs

Unfinished songs

Ruptured buildings and bones
A broken piano
A foot poking out the window
A bomb killed this last song

Broken hearts lying in rubble
Rigor mortis sung in treble
Silence sings for all who mourn
Unfinished songs

Symphonies for those with no ears

Frizzled Huitain

Drizzle and frizzled hair crinkles,
such sounds demand a symphony;
Clammy cold showered with sprinkles
there’s a vibe that says ‘Be easy.’
Stock up the wood burning fire place,
it’s raining I’ll send you a song;
Smoke creates a treble clef trace,
that rhythm will help you along.

Rondelet: Rat-A-Tat-'Tat

For the Sandy Hook Newtown
children and their mentors

Rondelet: Rat-a-tat-'tat

Rat-a-tat-'tat
Rattle staccato riddle tumble
Rat-a-tat-'tat
Toppled children scatter rat-tat
Innocent voices all tremble
Rifled trillions sure-fire treble
Rat-a-tat-'tat

Dark Diminuendo Dribbles - Day 25

lusty leaves wave
rusty rhythm plays
airy accordion pukes
callous concerto's tune
mystic music melt
smothering saucy crest

dark diminuendo dribbles
hoisting hankering wrinkles
seeped'n sassy treble

like tactic tiers
severed syllables smeared
on papyrus's peers

same spell squashes
emotion love lodges.

Sound Check

My brother performs in a band;
Plays keyboards and part of his brand
Is to lighten the bass
For he likes to embrace
Treble notes, just the way he had planned.

But a sound check gave him a critique
That his bass came across kind of weak.
I said, “Being a rebel
Will get you in treble!”
Which brought smiles to us both, cheek to cheek.

Lanky Coda Lurches - Day 29

nocturnal nature nimble
taunting tainted treble
felon feelings fumble
airy atmosphere gobble
rustic rhythm birthed
moaning melody tremble

dark dances complement
callous concerto's crest
bounty biddings bent

lanky coda lurches
nature hanker surges
puking punctured confetti

bruised skin blushes
under mystic massages.

Scoring

i don't need
braille to read
all these three

of five
lines treble
alto and bass

but i
need to
read between

the lines
to find the
hidden symphony

our tempo
changes from
time to time but i

find that
you are more
salsa then sonata

so while
composing
i keep in mind

that my
three four
waltz time might

throw
off your
hips

Silver Strands

He liked her wrinkles, laughter lines,
Adored her pale age spotted hands,
Admired her body going south,
And loved her hair with silver strands.

She thought his hairfree head was cute,
And loved his double - treble – chin,
She didn’t care his waist was huge,
And didn’t mind his legs were thin.

They met on holiday in Spain,
And both had found true love again.

Subjugation

Man shoulder that burden,
you are a beast,
here is my whip,
but where is your back,
you tire now so soon,
remember the days,
when I had my say,
got you to work,
in the worst of murk,
Now you are timourous,
and a rebel,
it is there in your eyes,
to a multiple of a treble,
tone it down,
and recognize yourself,
you are my beast,
to say the least.

Honeybee

honeybee

love was a little treble thing?
prone to sing
and sometimes to sting

Crushing Concerto's Best

bleeding guts busted
hankering urge hoisted
dark drips dribbled
mending torn treble
felon fashion flawed
cuddling callous crawl

drooling diminuendo's crest
gaunt glissando bled
crushing concerto's best

tamed dreg tilted
sassy syllables guided
sumptuous slavery greeted

la-de-da wits worn
on funky forms.

88 Keys

88 Keys
 Bass,middle, treble range.
 Piano, favorite instrument.
 Unique sound.
 Array of strings abound.
 Dust settles.
 Million songs created.
 88 keys.
 Each sound is beautifully made.
 Peddle travels volume.
 A music maker.
 230 strings.
 Moon light, playing
 Settle and soothing.
 Heart resting.
 Tears falling.
 Songs moving.
 Dressed in black.
Sounds from a piano are magical.

Little Bird

Cheerful little bird,
You are so very strange,
To land beside my window,
Upon this lonely day

Funny little bird,
You are so very brave,
To sing your tender treble,
Though sky is cold and grey

Caring little bird,
You are so very kind,
To be my sole companion,
When warmth I cannot find

Silly little bird,
You came so very close,
To craft your grassy hovel,
Then flew across the coast.

A Single Act of Love

A single pebble,
dropped into calm waters,
I watched the ripples grow.

The sound could only be a treble,
it's still heard across many waters,
by sailors, even as they row.

I cease to be a rebel,
like clay in the hands of master potters,
I appoint you the baker and I'll be your dough

With your love so strong, I tremble,
though among the poorest of paupers,
an eagle I've become, instead of a crow.

An Endless War

010101010101010101010101010101010 only numbers left

no walnut dashboard 010101010101010101010 no treble clef

just the breeze where once was sun 01010101010101010010

perpetual war it is no fun:

only numbers now to kiss your cheek 010101010101010 to

grease the starlings hungry beak 01010101010101001

and when the moon hits ice cream sky 0101010101010

The Cleavage In An Insidious Image

Good and evil clash
In a duel
Staged to smash
Surrogacy and supremacy fuel

In engines roaring
To influence
Folks on the Earth roaming
Bereft of conscience

Power drunk
To sample and dabble
In lamb or skunk
With tension treble

In scenes
Odious, mysterious
In virtues or sins
Folks deem delirious

When along terminator
Comes along
Brushing aside drivel disseminator
Who sows and grows worlds of wrong.

Flat Ulance

musically
on the staff
f major treble

clef keeps me
with only one
note that is

B flat and so
maestro
tap tap

tap your baton
attention
follow

ing his lead
i'm feeling
basso

filled up on
beans so
i'll be

a tuba
fragrantly
playing Rimsky

Korsakov
not even
thinking

of stopping
fingering
flight

not bumbling
the bumblebee
but the spit valve

will
need
drained

at
least
twice
