Time Won't Give Me A Hand

Time has its back to me
I've never ever seen its face
So since it won't acknowledge me
I won't give it the time of day

Morning

My favorite time of day,
Is the morning when it's bright.
And its as it God is looking down to say,
Hello to morning, and goodbye to night.

Another Day

It’s another day.
Rise and shine
No matter the time of day.
Eyes open
I’m smiling to myself
Stretch
It’s a relief.
Thankful it’s another day.

Premium Member May and Charlie

Extra buxom pirate name of May
Would not give Charlie the time of day
But he got her to dance
And they did every chance
They live happily on Fox Trot Bay

We Need a New God

It does not matter how much I pray
God does not give me the time of day
That "omnipotent" snot
Did not try to save squat
When my iPhone drowned yesterday!

Premium Member On Cue

This is my favourite time of day,

Morning, as day starts anew.

The darkness turns to lighter grey

Which soon dispels to brilliant blue.

Birds start singing, as if on cue.

Little Angels Ever Singing

There once was a time of day when
Little angels would sing and pray then
gathering on a cloud
praising ever so loud
for eternity over again -

The Golden Time of Day

egg white pedals
and
mustard yellow eyes
following
the
light of the sun
where
the
lilies of the field
tippytoe
one by one
to
serve
the
will of God
in
the
golden time of day

Ironic Haerd An Idiot Say

Ironic Haerd An Idiot Say

There is something ironic  I heard them say;
To do things Trump had gone out of his way;
From inception,
Certain deception;
His watch was with the wrong time of day.

Constant ticks follow tocks
 Causing seconds to pass

Early Morning

The sun behind the mountain
Is stretching his arms of light.
Day's beginnings begun.

Quiet is the dawn.
blissful coffee
in my dad mug

This is the time of day
When I am drawn away.

Afternoon can surely wait.

Premium Member Her Familiars Ignored Her

Winnie was luxuriously enjoying her bath of bliss
When the cat and kits came in to snarl and hiss
Out! She said, but her familiars did not give her the time of day.
They confidently began to slip and slide and chase and play.

Northward Equinox

"Northward Equinox" (couplet)

Northward Equinox starts
Equal time of day light and night apart

With North pole’s six months of day light
When the Sun is on same plane as equator, so bright.

Light and Divinity

Here I am
My favorite time of day
Basking in the radiant sun as it hits my face
Reveling in light and divinity
Feeling good to be alive
In the silence
I begin to paint my expectations of the day
About to honour the life I was given

Snowflakes

Tumultuous yet tranquil—
Your tiny tufts are blown

Upon your endless sea of white,
And seem to softly float,

Not ever taking time of day
To pause their dizzy winter dance,

Until their feet are made to melt
Within my open hands.

Premium Member He Ignored Me the Time of Day

He ignored me the time of day

He's a puzzle at first sight, not love
Behind those eyes lie deep riddles
Those eyes making kittens purr
My sea wanting his ship
Even for one trip
He ignores me
To spite
Why

An miserable old crone lived down the way Invited young men into her house to play, I can't imagine it, really, It seems to me perfectly silly She wouldn’t give us old men the time of day.

I miss you Bluebird, come to me
You’re the only one I see
Regardless of the time of day
Your image on my mind does stay
And when I get a new tattoo
I’ll look at it and think of you
Touch it, feel it, passion play
Unrestricted, trace away

Premium Member A Plantain

The fruit is tasty
So different in taste
looks like a banana
Yet its not the same

A banana just eat
Plantain must be cooked
Once its golden brown
It is ready to eat

Any time of day
It does not matter
A delightful treat
I often enjoy
