On Cue

This is my favourite time of day,

Morning, as day starts anew.

The darkness turns to lighter grey

Which soon dispels to brilliant blue.

Birds start singing, as if on cue.

When the sun rises and the birds start chirping, it sets the entire tone for the rest of the day. No better way to wake up than to the songs of birds, Francine. Very much enjoyed your poem! (You even put a smile on my old sour puss face.) Thank you. Love, Carolyn
