tall grass tickles
a bare tree growing through stones
an isle in asphalt
painted white lines go by
guiding the flow of morning
Mistress Nancy lost her shoes.
Dancing nude at Bonnaroo.
Tickles her fancy.
With Master Yancy.
On romantic interludes.
Sun Serenity
by Amy Swanson 12/2008
Rays of sun so bright
Streams of soft serenity
Light tickles my soul
I have felt all kind of feelings,
all at once, confusing me,
I was hit away from dreaming,
as new feelings played with me.
Charma
Crisp air thin and dry
Snuggles under covers sweet
Giggles and tickles
Fall into love once more dear
Sprinkle love like leaves aground
A lady whose special dill dough
Was suddenly covered in snow
Found that what tickles
More than icicles
Is watching those fat fickles grow
Comical, witty, humorous Bea.
Ridiculous when she comes to tea.
Wherever she goes,
Bea pretty much knows
She tickles you and she tickles me.
SWAN SONG
black ice fools
swans’ midnight landing
feathers slide
winds laughter
tickles newborn twigs
raven’s smirk
Victoria Anderson-Throop
Preparing mango pickles
Give the nose pungent tickles
Sneezing all through the day
In the hot month of may
Eyeing the yummy oil filled bottles
Spirits revisit
From time to time and touch us
You’ll know when you feel
Electric tickles on skin
Static electricity.
A wispy finger tickles the air
But a breath exhaled
Chases it away
All that remains now
A sweet scent in the air
And now it's time
For another puff
On the pipe
We cook it ! Feel your tonsils tingle!
Add mayonnaise, lettuce, a pickle.
Lost both tonsils at ten
so can I ask you when
my change comes to more than a nickle?
We may be a nation of laws
But we're not a nation of lawyers
The Constitution - We don't want to destroy her
Though it tickles us pink to annoy her
The water trickles
Over the rocks it tickles
Moving and falling
Into the clear pool below
Merging with calm flowing sound

Pickled farts I gotta let you know
If it tickles when it comes out your hole
You better beware
When you stare down there
You probably pebble dashed the toilet bowl
For each test I was offered two nickels,
but was sacked for my tally just trickles,
as there was no demo
on why with each Elmo,
I’m to give all of them two test tickles.
Winter
Grips the deep south
Wind twist oak's only leaf
Tickles the windchimes, bumps the porch
Soon leaves
So we are desiring right now
a lark song tickles
notes of robins and wrens pique~
the starling teasing

For Spring Birds Poetry Contest
Sponsored by Constance La France
There was a girl who loved salty pickles
She'd stick in a fork for a sure tickle
The first bite would spirt
She'd give the dork a squirt
Pickle juice in the eyes, such a giggle!
Oh, how I do love pickles
Especially those long, slim icicles
Whether Dill or Sweet Gherkin
From its jar I am jerkin'
Because as it goes down ~ it Tickles!
Pickles dressed up in black eight inch heels
Tickles snuggled in flannel gown with toy eel
Pickles danced all night
To waning moonlight
Pickles home late tripped over eel took spill
There was an old lady, I heard
Who talked every day to her bird.
To get him to speak,
She twisted his beak
And taught him a very bad word.
For Pickles and tickles contest
I do what I want
Listening to all my dreams
What does it all mean
How does anything happen
My reflection in the mirror
A kiss on the cheek tickles
When the wind blows steady
Love, sweet love, makes the world go round
Tickles our fancy, like a sweet old hound
A reason to giggle
We squirm and wiggle
Certainly take pride as a silly old clown
Here ye! Hear ye! Comedy lives here
It's all I know... whups, the white coats are near
It tickles me bum
To know that some
Need medical attention, their addiction's severe
