It was worse in the Atlanta area and below us there was a tornado that touched down. We had wind and rain but nothing too serious. A lot of water. It is supposed to come in again tomorrow sometime. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Lasaad, yes, it was about to strip away the oak's pride but it survived one more time. Thanks for the nice review. Sara K

IE, I like to hear the windchimes during a storm. It seems to add a touch of normalcy to a windstorm. Thanks for the visit and the nice review of my lines. Well, I think it is going to be a nice, cold winter day, a respite before the coming storm. Thanks for the kind review of my work. Sara K

Sara, Yours is an in depth exquisite depiction in five lines. A Cinquain that captures winter’s dark beauty with a hint of wry humour as a bonus. I’m referring to the fourth line. Superb. I’m grateful for your kind comment on my work Howard

Oh, a delicate and captivating poem, dear Sara.. That imagery of wind twisting oak's only leaf conveys so much depth.. It represents melancholy and heartache covering the atmosphere, whilst striking oak's only leaf of strength.. As oak symbolises resilience and power, you've so beautifully described in an evocative way, how that leaf fights for survival.. A very deep and intriguing poem, dear poetess, absolutely loved reading this.. Sending light and best wishes ~ :)

Yes, Hiya. The oaks have just a few leaves that tenaciously hang on until spring buds push them off. Thanks for the interesting review of my work. Sara K
