What joy, what passion, what thunderous light
What splendor, what beauty, what wondrous sight
Those lucky few on this magical night
While others suffer a tragical plight
I feel there’s but the edge of a cloud stalling my blue sky
The remnants of a dark and thunderous shadow on my world
The sun is about to blaze, dawning in luster of light
Dark clouds storm the angry sky,
Thunderous drum beat deafening cry,
Lightening spikes pierce raising fears,
Drenching mortals below with raindrop tears.
They roar up the street in a thunderous way
Where are they heading? The great big highway?
The engine whines as they push the metal down.
We hear teenagers’ cars straining all over town.

Arch of triumph
Watching the streaming rain
Heavens thunderous cavalry
Retreat.

Shimmering arc
Stretching across grey skies
Does that path lined with silver end
With gold?
Depression
My depression
is steep
It is as a deep back lhole in space
