Softener of Love

Collect memories
Threaded with delicacy
Softened with the love
Obtained with true forgiveness
Caressing the soul and mind

Life

LIFE

The road of life twists and coils
Occasionally doubling back on itself
Threaded through convoluted
Tangles of happiness and pain

Snow Drop Moonshine Septolet

Snow drop moonshine
     star threaded
           blanket;

       Partied hard;
        Squandered
         your light
 elevating in dreams.

Creation

Tapestry woven of words
Threaded together with quality
Rapture erupting when read

Solace

When they break in.
Weave me back together

Love threaded spindle heart;
Needle tongue

Stringing me up like puppeteers;
Keeping these pieces of my heart together.

My Hat

Orange, black, and white
Keep it pulled down tight.

Sits on my head with pride
Taking care of my uncombed hair
Ageing with daily wear
Threaded with the letters OSU
Eskimo Joe wears one too.

Fabric Moments

logic evolved
to become...

as mental sew-wings
such that thoughts...

threaded meant what
was seen...

in some 'now' scene
that be as of...

some picked-sures
pictured...

Ivory Bridal Shower

Juvenile bride to be is nervous
Nervous in her bridal shower
White ivory wedding gown
Pearl and rhinestone threaded
In crown tiara
Waiting the day
To wed with
Her dear
Prince

Freedom

I see a kite flies
Easy, threadless in the skies,
Down, down to its doom.
One, threaded, higher does rise,
Freedom’s not just too much room.

Triad In 7 Beats

TRIAD IN 7 BEATS

                    As glistening pearl droplets
                   Threaded opal around neck
                   Crisp rain molecules beckon

Threaded.

I’ve threaded my fingers and turned my body into beads.
Like a necklace I was strung and now she wears me ‘round her throat.
Everyone compliments her new accessory.
They say it suits her perfectly;
they’ve never seen a better match.
They can’t tell I’m wearing her down.

Gown of Green

Her gown of sprouting green, sleeves of new leaves
Jade shade illuminates fresh summer rain
Woven gossamer silk on turquoise trees
Threaded through her mare's alabaster manes
Planting gold hope along emerald lanes
November mists persists in chartreuse dawn
With aspirations to sage Avalon.

Its Pilfered Seed

I steal a little line
From here …or ….there
A half a quote
Still in its underwear
Then weave these words
Into a threaded quilt
Sign my name
Feel a bit of guilt
For without straw
The bricks
Are just wet silt.

So, mix your mortar thick
Feed passion’s need
To hide within its grip
Its pilfered seed.

Neglect

Gray air.
Silent lair.
Rain: needles threaded
threaded with liquid despair.

Old man. Chair.
Window bare.
Suffers existence
with time to spare.

Life behind.
Daily grind.
Wealthy: healthy
state of mind.

Arthritic form.
Barometric norm.
Tears: who left the child
out in the storm.

Autumn Relief

The evil teeth of summer have chewed
me and raked me and made my skin sere
Sleepless nights have sucked my soul
and caused me many a nighttime tear

Then one day I feel it, a faint puff of air
Fall is threaded through it like a fantasy
Soon the leaves will change to russet
We will enjoy wonderful Autumn ecstasy

Kill the Blue Skies

And on some days while the
sun is being threaded
tightly by her corset
oh visit me my fantasy
have dream come true
while you kill the blue
skies you suck up
and in my head I drown
my fears and lay my self
down to sleep and pray
Dream come true
Dream come true
oh won't you come
true.

Axle Grease

Coaxing
Words from limbo
Into life.

Slipping them from
The pocket of
Your muse, onto
Eager paper.

Lovely linen,
Thick with roses.

Or threaded with
Barb-wire.

Altar for the gentle
Blood of visionaries,

Mingled with axle grease
For sturdy wordsmiths
Eager to lay concrete verse
Lasting beyond time.

Broomstick Nylon and Thread

Crafted with broomstick and nylon
Her heart is held softly on a thread
This is me
Growing up as a kid with a kite
When the wind comes
I hoped my dear kite won’t tear
For so will I
Torn to pieces
Broomstick and nylon
Threaded to heaven
To Rest In Peace
Bring back my kite
I feared saying goodbye
But death took away my kite

Earthly Blues a Pure Happenstance

softening the atmosphere
with
       extraordinary curiosity
a narrative

     fascination with the exotic
         significantly
passionate
expressive
eloquent
energetic
              improvision
   a harmony
             of continuity
smooth

    a pure happenstance

threaded the grain&texture
of
    emotion exhaled

Imperfect F0rm

I stepped on the edge of a cliff and tumbled across Jerry Garcia. Gratefully so including all aspects verbose; the music carries on harmonic within me. Threaded only of a single bind I am bound . . . to tell the people what I have found. The truth be told happens here on seemingly flat ground.

The Moonlight Shining

Through threaded clouds a misty light protruded beamingly
As if to answer roll-call a misty light so seemingly

A cataclysmic display of exuberance dispensing a joyous light
Am I correct or wrong even in this vivid spectacular at night

The moon plays her chords with a happy smile to display
Her superiority in height never needing to say

The End.

Death By Oppenheimer

For knowledge and wisdom, I glean
     geometry, physics, science,
philosophy, and tomes umpteen!
     In search of shrewd intelligence,
I forsake college's campus scene;
     and pursue rhyme's magnificence,

spinning lines on the wheel and loom,
and threaded weave, of the rhymer
than idle in a dull classroom
     (wishing for death by Oppenheimer).
