Autumn Relief

The evil teeth of summer have chewed
me and raked me and made my skin sere
Sleepless nights have sucked my soul
and caused me many a nighttime tear

Then one day I feel it, a faint puff of air
Fall is threaded through it like a fantasy
Soon the leaves will change to russet
We will enjoy wonderful Autumn ecstasy

Autumn and Spring are both my favorite times of years, as there is no harshness or evil teeth in them as there are in Winter and Summer. I love it that you think so highly of Autumn. It seems to be the prettiest season until May when the tulips are up.
