Beef and black bean sauce with rice

Of course, Dine and Dash don't say no
Takeaway meals too good to go
                A perfect restaurant
                even to an aged aunt
                Not a profitable portfolio...

Early Late
Early sun rising rainbows dance on my wall
I wake up I am late
Early spring late train again

Late home hunger pains
Early dinner a takeaway
Late bedtime too much telly

Early morning feeling tired
Late again turn the alarm off
Early train oh no I missed it what a shame...

Antipodean Autumn
Riotous, raucous —
Rainbow parrots’ feathers fly.
Acrobatic clowns

Three great crows regard
The thrown away takeaway —
Keen, sharp, purposeful.

Butcherbirds on wire
Bowing and fluting in turn
A twilight concert.

Black wings on pink dawn.
Flying foxes homeward bound
To roost — full of fruit....

I Know What I Am
First
takeaway all that you are not
and cannot be proved
in the stark light of
the five senses.

The more you are convinced of
the more you will be self-deceived,
keep nothing that speaks
from an ajar door.

We all in the end
or at the beginning of the end
get to know what we are.

An undiscovered
unexploded land-mine
waits for us to tread upon it -
then we will know....

Premium Member My Turn To Cook
My wife said to me
She didn't feel well,
And if I don't mind, would I cook.
I told her to lay down
And have a good rest,
While I get my new cookery book.
So she went to lie down,
And I went for my book.
Oh what a surprise,
I was in luck.
Hiding behind my new cookery book
Was a menu from a good takeaway.
So I waited an hour,
Then sprinkled some flour,
Then ordered a pizza,that day!...

Takeaway On Lunch Dates From An Introvert
Exchanging cloddish giggles
Gawky, flailing limbs
Quota, reaching, nibbles
Cloth to dot our chins

Predictable mindless chatter
We must appear intrigued
An opening to flatter
Allows a moment of relief

And during this scenario
Our hearts will both, descend
At the transition of the , stereo
Subject ends, til next begins

Once the fresh tape rolls
Our joy just won’t be tamed
It may not feed our souls
But sets aside our shame...

An Animals Prayer
dear Lord save me from evil men
the bullet bait and snare,
save me from being caged
or confined for men to stare.

save me from the abattoir
or from the skinners knife,
and the plunging dagger
that would take away my life.

They takeaway my habitat
and hunt me when they can,
they destroy my offspring,
and take pleasure in the hunt.

and still they kill each other
with rocket bomb and shell,
send them retribution lord
and let them rot in hell....

Premium Member Out of the Frying Pan
I think that it's fantastic
When my wife start's to cook,
She gets out all her pots and pans
And MY brand new cookery book.
She starts to peel some potatoes
Then she gets some liquid out.
As I look on in wonder,
At what it's all about.
She then chops up the potatoes
And drops them in the pan.
I don't know what she is doing,
After all, I'm just a man.
At last she shouts it's ready,
She says she's made my tea.
She's sat there eating a takeaway,
And it's a plate of chips for me....

Premium Member Cafe Thoughts
Espresso time with double shot,
Hot caffeine rhymes with oomph I plot.

Watch people come for a warm fix.
Seek cuppa sums in a brown mix.

Swirl of hot drink keeps senses sharp,
Move thoughts that link ideas that harp.

Queue long enough for fragrant flow,
Takeaway stuff now on-the-go.

I sit right here in this cafe,
Feel fancy cheer the caffeine way.

Sip swirling cup of potent brew,
In a quick gulp bitter taste stews.
