Leave Me Be
Leave me be, leave me be--

Why can't you see?

Depravity taints my sanity--

Vanity corrupts our fantasy--

Of a life without strife--...

Her taints
She is with some taints: Her nose has some scents; Coming from some paints, Her neck has some dents; Shown by hidden vents, But she looks like saints.

Who Says Humans Are Weak
Who says humans are weak
Is it not humans
Who destroys this land
Is it not humans
Who slaughters their friends
Is it not humans
Who hunts the beings
Is it not humans
Who taints this world
If not then who or what?...

A Heart Transformed
Lo, now comes that gentle death,
The march of shadows freed,
Which the wings of angels taints and tears
With compassion fouled:
Now Hate's own breed
And to Love akin-
The velvet stalking
Of the heart betrayed...
Bare, thirsting claw,
Sweet feral rage!...

Silence
Silence is golden
Making room for thoughts maiden
From the mine within
Yes, it eases much burden
And shows the power within

Chatter is burden
It detains in common dene
Yes, talk taints the dean;
But silence, is the garden
That grows inventions within...

Monochrome
.

It's a joyful riot of deep emerald satin,
this morning's monochrome
of green.

It taints and paints the vast grasslands
that undulate like slowly
swelling waves,

chasing one another across shimmering
shorelines that kiss the
distant horizons.

Paroxysm
As twilight turns to dawn, something brings to memory

Of lovers’ laughter, hate, and banter out of spree

Like daylight, warm are the smiles and colorful as a prism

And as moonlight taints their skin, bodies go feverish in paroxysm

But they are now just in dreams, only in dreams...

Everyone Poops
You should not be embarrassed
or shy when sometimes something
embarrassing taints your pride;
it can be a karaoke gone wrong,
a misspelling of a verse in church,
wardrobe dysfunction in a public space....
You should remember that everyone poops-
no need to hide as you get into the toilet;
it's part and parcel of life....

Befallen Slave
Befallen slave,
la ractera,
the child of night,
corrupt.

Upon whip's handle,
laceration,
feeds the shelves,
the cradle starved.

Cyphera encountus,
abacus is nay appalled
...with corpse's heart;
lest the starving wallet beat.

St. Valentine's anniversary
covertly taints it's favorite treat.

- Is this poem too cryptic??...

Focus and see
A brave new world
Corruption taints

Delight and be
A light that shines
Persuasion claims

Abstain and know
A glow that sparks
Pain primes pleasure

Align and feel
A sign that stays
Pulse point treasure

Reveal and start
A tale of peace
Live love's laughter

Perspective
Perfection holds a greater name
Defining whats not yours
Aware of wonder gone untamed
With what was pure before

Lurking in the shadows gate
The mind un opens doors
Fear of love with driven hate
Your heart is left unsure

Anger with a desperate take
Taints all you knew before
Leaving you to your self hate
That boils in your core...

one-time betrayal of trust
    taints pristine relationship.
there's nothing worth salvaging;
           not much to cling to.

they gave it a fighting chance
sadly, it was all for naught.
 too strong, the stench of decay;
           their love couldn't last....

Easy floats breezy
Crudely taints comely

Blindly knows vainly
Moody fakes jazzy

Folly feels jolly
Picky pokes messy

Silly slots pouty
Loudly drums petty

Empty words plenty
Greedy falls madly

Calmly woos happy
Sporty knows sexy

Pretty prompts sweetly
Happy charms wisely

Premium Member Saints and Sinners - Sinners and Saints
The path to take for all is shown - saints and sinners; sinners and saints. God loves us, for we are His own. The path to take for all is shown. Since days of old, the truth’s been known. Though all that’s good the darkness taints, the path to take for all is shown - saints and sinners; sinners and saints. Oct. 28, 2016

Premium Member Dust Quells What Time Tells
Listen to poem:
Dust coats mementos in treasure trove
In a veil that palls recall with a shroud.
It dims the past with repast of neglect,
That taints memories with fading, settling light.
Echoes become fainter, scenes blur,
The sharp clear focus softens in the listless mist
As dust pervades relentless, unstoppable
It quickens the quell that time tells
Neglected memories to fade, be lost and begone....

The White Falcon's Domain
Majestic white falcon,
Bold and confident,
Subdued thy prey.
Black teardrop feathers,
On both sides of him,
Bruised the gray dove;
Strong black needle claws
Pierced the dove’s heart-
Bright red blood flows out,
Taints the falcon’s wings.
Gentle moment or silent compassion,
Deep red ruby eyes glared
Beyond the distant blue sky,
Spread out both wings
And lifted his prey to the falcon’s domain....

Comfort of Heart
How familiar but hazy this barn,
with taints of everything I'd known,
or felt I knew ---
my modern lifestyle
had been too cosmopolitan, false -
Sunset glimmered on the rusty sills,
yet the comfort grew warmer
and I was finally
in an abode I belonged,
the smell of baked potatoes
drifting on--
where time walked these shoes
back in grandparents' halls.

The Chef
I peel you slowly.
Inch by inch.
Hands stutter, then
Nimbly uncinch.
First bite of flesh tight
And unyielding.
Slowly tenderize.
The salts are for curing.
You simmer slow.
Acid tang briefly
Taints the tongue –
Aromatic, you are like
Jasmine rice.
Just inhaling your slow roast
Salivates.
Slowly knead and
Rise.
Behold my baking –
Mine for the taking.
Throat wants to sing –
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…………………………………………....

Premium Member I fear the closets fuzzy things
I fear the closets fuzzy things
Unseen thoughts with distant stings
Dreams soft whispering breezes bring
To calm the demons to which I cling

For life has had its way with me
It taints the beauty that I see
With brushstrokes marred by visions lie
That wingless birds could learn to fly

I sit and long for never was
Wary of that closet fuzz
For monsters all have shape and size
And fuzzy thoughts spread wicked lies

The Empty Room
an empty room
and I stare at the ceiling
blank eyes and a blanker slate,
my poker face
arms spread over my head
all I can see are
whirring blades blurring into
creamy paint and
the small cracks in between
the shadows in my chest,
mahogany
branching out their needles,
ebony
one pricks my eye
red ink taints crisp alabaster
damps it slow, slow, slow
I exhale shaky, shaky, shaky
heavy lids droop to a close
and no one sees
no one can.

Flames of Desire
A flame is said to be a source of light
but yet it is the reason
the reason why theres night
but For those who
covet this light taints its existence
are soon broken by
their thirst
a thirst of knowledge
 of power and fame

Lush
For you i need nothing
I live off your breath and bask in your gaze
so sticky sweet i am

I am yours
im sure i have been for quite some time
unaware to me en-till now

your unforgettable
forever craved in me
it your love that flows threw my veins

smiles seem unless
kisses seem like magic
touches seem otherworldly

so drunk i am
but no alcohol taints my breath
so high i am
but no drugs touch my veins

baby this is forever
and forever ill love you...

Premium Member Tarnished Reflections
Hairline cracks of doubt
slow mark the corners
of mind’s vision,
alter the illusion
of yesterdays
filtering into today’s.
Soft gray film taints
the sunshine halos,
hardens the smiles,
narrows the eyes
as we squint
into an abyss
of angst.
The shadows overlap,
blend into complex
inequities of truth
tinged by time,
of lies mocking
the truth,
piercing the solitude
of age
with the dagger
of youth,
clouding the beauty
of tarnished reflections.

Goodbye
I must say goodbye to my addiction
And goodbye to the violence
In my heart.
Saying farewell to my
Former self.
It may be difficult,
At times,
But it's just the start
To a new journey
Of the heart.
Where pain no longer taints
The pattern of my life's quilt.
There comes a time for acceptance.
To accept joy into my heart,
As it bursts through
The icy walls
That are surrounded by doubt.
I must stop,
I must dive head first into recovery,
To say hello to
A new version of me....
