The White Falcon's Domain
Majestic white falcon,
Bold and confident,
Subdued thy prey.
Black teardrop feathers,
On both sides of him,
Bruised the gray dove;
Strong black needle claws
Pierced the dove’s heart-
Bright red blood flows out,
Taints the falcon’s wings.
Gentle moment or silent compassion,
Deep red ruby eyes glared
Beyond the distant blue sky,
Spread out both wings
And lifted his prey to the falcon’s domain.
