Symphonies and Symposiums

Today, while riding the bus,
 I met a rider who's an ambidexter.
He's definitely not a wuss,
& he said he lives in Mt Chester.

Autumn Reveries

Autumn spills over
In waterfalls of scarlet,
Golden cascades flow,
Umber symphonies tumble
With magenta fantasies.

Collarbone Symphonies

Pass me along
a pair of drumsticks
so I can create
vibrating calypso melodies
on the steel drums
found within the bones of my collar

Ballads and Symphonies

The soul of a place,
The lines written in our hearts,
The songs that linger.

Fifth Time's the Charm

Semi-creatively, Ludwig von Bethovan
sat in his music room, sucking his thumb.

Heavens to Murgatroyd! After four symphonies
more could be asked of me? Da Da Da-Dum

Symphonies I Have Dreamed

Tranquil, is a heavy soul fore’ night’s end…I’m in love.

To be witness to the brilliance.

In the ether's finite grandeur.

Symphonies radiant at the edge of sight.

pondering the premise of that moment.

Premium Member Quarantine

it’s been a very long and lonely quarantine
It’s allowed me the time
to write four great operas
two great symphonies
paint three masterpieces and
actually write one fictitious six line ditty

Of choirs so richly graced, Or melodies endowed, Other strains of new joys, Oboe sounds so vibrate, Oft played in symphonies. Orchestrating music Once heard, not forgotten.

Souvenir

Spinning Swirls of razor-sharp Swords.
Shiny mouth
Sings
Symphonies of the Sea with
Salty breath.
Soft pink, brown, peach--shades of
Sand.
Silently Sleeping as the Waves
Slap it out of dreams.

Premium Member Autumn Chant

Autumn Chant

Grey autumn oaks chant sad airs
In the east of darkling day;
Dirge winds blow through barren boughs
Tuneless symphonies.

Premium Member Summer Night Symphonies

Locusts and crickets rub their legs like mad
Their summer night symphonies uniformly bad

Yet when chill breezes still these musicians' strings
I long for the return of their discordant wings

Sweetness

How do I rid you
oh sweet pain,
this longing confusion,
of soulful tears.

Guarded by pins and needles of a tortured heart
Your words touched me like that of symphonies played long ago.
Bringing life into this once deaden soul.

The Wind Shepherdess

The wind,
 Like a shepherdess,
Gathers misty spindrift;
 Heaven’s lambs
From azure fields
 Where they pasture
Viewing paradise
 In meadows without edges;
Gliding effortless
 In pastoral symphonies.

Premium Member unspoken

inspired by Malia’s poem ‘crack the code’

the unspoken poems
are the loudest
the ones you don’t utter
the times you don’t bother
symphonies of silence
votes of no confidence
trust marbled with rust
what’s become of us?

A Patch of Moonlight

A patch of moonlight glimmers in pale shades of ivory
Then drips from feathery pine boughs in soft revery;
Nightingales fill solitude with pure symphonies
Still serenity of blissful stars in nocturnal brillancy.

Symphonies ....

Gorgeous he calls her ....
Lucifer's got company \m/ ....

He seeks her breath and
Her burial in his arms .......

With the noises in our heads ....
Yours and mine.
Playing our symphonies ..
Not so divine

See ya on the otherside ....

capture the soul and
as omniscient maestri gifted
conduct 'neath an azure backdrop , indigo waters
ripple music's shore. Hearts beat as one... Symphonies shroud the world in perpetual peace.

Spring 2

Bird song symphonies
Interweave through trees
Adorned with blossoms.
The land, a mosaic
Of nature's splendor

The doting eye
Of the sun lands
Upon the blush
Of red dogwoods

Skins are out
Earthy smells
Cling to me

The days
Become
