The Wind Shepherdess

The Wind Shepherdess

The wind,
 Like a shepherdess,
Gathers misty spindrift;
 Heaven’s lambs
From azure fields
 Where they pasture
Viewing paradise         
 In meadows without edges;
Gliding effortless 
 In pastoral symphonies.
