Premium Member Long Ago

Long ago the roses bloomed
In briars brown and Smokey gray
Now the buds have slowly swooned
Downtrodden brambles in their wake

Old Paradise Street

Strolling around in
our dear Old Paradise Street
I nearly swooned, my
love, yet, though, rose up into
your deep blue empyrean.

Old Blue Eyes and the Mafia

Frances Albert Sinatra
Was said to have ties to the mafia
Backstage bullets flew as old blue eyes crooned
Gangsters fell as their gun molls swooned

Crazy Love

When I am with you,I feel swooned.
  Its true you make my heart go zoomed.
  But never worry my love,
  I expect nothing.
  Just want to love you till I reach our moon.

Premium Member Push Up Bottom

Bought a new deodorant stick... the label read “Push up bottom” should've applied it to my armpits instead Coz when let her fly The room smells divine Passersby swooned, lost control, turned deep red

Admiring a Full Moon - Trochee

A full moon, she paraded amongst subdued stars A bright sun swooned then faded admiring afar How the sun's love grew brighter His moon boldly smiled Hanging full, she grew wider her shape had beguiled

scary truth

Scary truth we said on the roof
You dared to see me through

With your eagle-eye view
swooned me in, out of blue

And I know this couldn't be true
Cause I came strong onto you

But you cared-
To listen to my scary truths

Premium Member Leaf Song

Pale shadows, weaker still
Cool compose - Autumn’s will

Fragile notes, cling to trees
Breeze emotes melodies

Softly crooned, as they fall
Leaf song swooned, silent sprawl

Third degree burns? I just get hot;
Finally, deep enough to wound;
Painful skin grafts can't get a shot,
to my frequency you were tuned;
Beneath the surface desire crooned,
I'll be your willing apprentice;
Eyes flashing 'Danger' I just swooned,
thriving in a consuming kiss.

Makita Xxii: Cocaine Memories

Awaiting a light
To guide us down the path
that composed our eternity

For no woman I have swayed
In quite the fashion as I for you
For no woman could I have swooned
as I swiftly as I for you

and if ever there was a chance
to seize the pendulum
‘tis your constant amour
Then the risk would equalize
The value you illustrate

Past the tears of joy
My heart rejoiced and pumped
An utter beat of ethereal madness
For a new soul awakened love
With kind and somber touch
Unbeknownst and never felt
Overcome with dizziness
I swooned neath this power
My female flower pronounced
And awakened fresh and sweet
For long ignored and now alive
Vitality and youth regained

Premium Member Tulip

I kissed a Tulip in a hidden silent glen
On a sunny day a stranger led me hence
I laid upon the ground hand upon its’ base
The bulb was maybe six inches from my face
Fragrant and alluring yet insidious as well
I licked of its freshness consumed by the smell
Flesh colored light pink and barely bloomed
It stared back at me as I swallowed and swooned.

Premium Member Ricky the Raccoon

Did you hear about Ricky the Raccoon
Who found a cat who had swooned
He returned it back home
In case, dazed it did roam
His reward, a night on the toon

Dads Shouldn'T Dance

I danced the dance of the unrestrained,

It felt so good I danced again.

At my gyrations, ladies swooned

(well if not, they would do soon)

I did not care, for this was me

In wild abandon for all to see.

I was hip, I was the man

My dancing moves, they were just grand.

Then I saw my children's faces...

Beetroot red, heads in hands.

Premium Member Timing Is Everything

The moon was full
   Your lips were too
I nearly swooned
   Anticipating you

Your perfume's scent
   My senses bent
You moved, you swayed
   My desire engaged

I reached for your heart
   Then it all fell apart
I'd moved too fast
   For unripened love to last

Timing is everything, the philosophers say
   I'd picked the wrong time, a high price I'd paid

Premium Member Summer Breeze

A warm summer breeze
touched the side of her cheek
it caressed slowly
in a loving way
trying to get her attention
it swooned around her
wrapping lovingly
trying to awaken her

It was changing
direction and temperature
bringing in a seasonal storm
with a slow puff and then
a magnificent one
she called attention
to her sleeping subject
just as the first raindrop fell.

Bonnie Scotch Ladies

Oh !
The swirl o the kilt !

The Maid
There was an old maid of Pitlochary whose morals were truly a mockery
For under her bed she'd a fellow instead of the usual porcelain crockery !

to the haunt o the pipe !

The Lady
Each time Lady Sutherland swooned
Her bosoms popped out like balloons
But her butler stands by with a gleam in his eye and lifts them back in with warm spoons !

I'M 23 Now! (Well Yesterday)

Happy birthday to me!
In 27 years I will be 50!
That's something I'm not quite in the mood for,
that march 5th 1987 was the year I was swooned more.
I wish I could stop time when I turn 25.
25 seems to be a good age no one will pay me any mind.
I hope to have children after the year 2012...
But by the way the that things are going on earth
I think all the people here might be washed or burst!

Premium Member Blue and Bliss

Sienna...

Sounded like silk
looked like silk
it felt like silk
rolling over her tongue
over her skin
every hair on her neck standing on end
Hackles   rippling
    hers and his
as he turned his steely blue head towards her

Eye to eye with something so wild
she felt her soul
    succumb

Light headed
she sighed
    nay swooned

scratching Kestrel off her list

Premium Member Pardon My Parody: What Happens In San Francisco

...and with apologies to Tony Bennett.

I smelled a fart in San Francisco,
It wafted out across the Bay.
An Oakland breeze just blew it back,
A tourist gasped, "A gas attack!"
A drag queen shrieked, "Oy vey!
That's gross!", and swooned away.
Who cut that fart in San Francisco
The CIA is keen to see.
If they find out it's from North Korea or Iran,
It could be the fart that started World War III.

Premium Member Band Practice

In bed lovesick, waiting for the rain;
Coffee in the air instruments being tuned,
faintly I hear them ready to try again;

Wearing a sleepy smile I swooned;
Nothing like waking up to a song
as I lay in this blanket cocooned;

In this moment is where I belong
imprinting  every drop of this;
Don't know I'm listening, I'll play along;

Just stay quiet and I get to witness
the magic of a morning band practice.
