Tulip

I kissed a Tulip in a hidden silent glen On a sunny day a stranger led me hence I laid upon the ground hand upon its’ base The bulb was maybe six inches from my face Fragrant and alluring yet insidious as well I licked of its freshness consumed by the smell Flesh colored light pink and barely bloomed It stared back at me as I swallowed and swooned.

An interesting poem to say the least... yet very nicely penned. Depending on ones mind set this could be interpreted in different ways...

Just love this creative poem, Kelli! Who would have thought of kissing tulips? -- maybe kissing two lips... :) gw
