Summer Breeze

A warm summer breeze
touched the side of her cheek
it caressed slowly
in a loving way
trying to get her attention
it swooned around her
wrapping lovingly
trying to awaken her

It was changing
direction and temperature
bringing in a seasonal storm
with a slow puff and then
a magnificent one
she called attention
to her sleeping subject
just as the first raindrop fell.

The elements of nature can be so pleasant until the hot air clashes with cold. This is so enchanting Phyl. I love the way you ended this! : ) xxoo

Fall is on the way Connie and nights are getting cooler. So wet that harvest is a bit delayed this year. Hoping for a long fall. love phyl

Thanks Anne Lise. Have had a writing block for a while and sitting watching the breeze in the trees today gave me a poem. Nature at it's best. love phyl
