Blue and Bliss

Sienna...

Sounded like silk
looked like silk
it felt like silk
rolling over her tongue
over her skin
every hair on her neck standing on end
Hackles rippling
    hers and his
as he turned his steely blue head towards her

Eye to eye with something so wild
she felt her soul
    succumb

Light headed
she sighed
    nay swooned

scratching Kestrel off her list

Sweetness! I still remember every detail of my first sighting. Actually the canvas in my avatar was a painting of a Kestrel, before in a fit I painted over it. Wish I got a photo. Good morning good afternoon and goodnight!

Always wonderful, and this, truly beautiful Maureen. When I was younger and wanting to be an ornathologist, my brother and I would always do the annual Christmas Bird Count in our area. Spotting one not already on the list was a heart pumping thrilling moment. You've expressed this so well Maureen. Thank you always. (PS: the validation code for my comment is ASS lol I usually am LOL)
