Precipice
Arizona cliffs
Above rippling waters' rush.
Floodwaters spill out.

Texting is that silent voice behind words,
spill out your guts, sharpen your swords!
Will the person being texted respond vulgarly,
assuming that the message was too naughty?
Hidden before you,
Without a trace.
Standing and speaking of nonsensical things.
Look into my eyes,
Honest truth will spill out.
Don't look and hidden I will be.
too much rain for the rivers to contain
streams spill out and bridges fail
every valley will flood
every swollen creek runs
swiftly into yards and fields
and city streets ripping away conceit
Heartstrings
skillfully played
each note hits close to home
as I weep symphony of tears
spill out

Went with new instead of old.
Take me to the place where my mind can embrace healing grace,
Give me your ear and let me spill out my pain to your face.
Give me your arms stretched out to a a hug oh so tight.
Dazzle my mind while making my fears run with freight.
emotions spill out from my pen
tho i try to keep them in
mechinized robotic forms
tend to often be the norm
now i see the gift it brings
thru the earths melodic rings
so sweet these emotions burst
im glad i got to feel them first
Form:
Everywhere I go
My rear is there for me
It gives comfort when I sit
Should I decided to bend the knee
With strong advice from my wife
I need to keep my cheeks pinched tight
So everywhere I go
My brains don't spill out on the floor
Form:
Somewhere in the middle of it all I knew I was standing still
I claw my way around the backs of people that makes themselves through thrill
I'm nothing more than besides the doors of faith and filtered light
I seek what heals
And spill out deals
To those in passing mind
Form:
Versifying is an art.
One’s course of thoughts, it can chart.
Sing loud your heart’s sweet refrain,
And harness some fruitful gain.
What you hold silent in heart,
Spill out, it may hit like dart.
If you put apt words in rhyme,
The outcome will be sublime.
When worlds collide
Life will listlessly slip away from us
When the universe unlatches
Our whole world will spill out
When Earth explodes
The human race will smash into oblivion
When weapons become us
Peace will be a thing of folk lore
When we do die
Our love will live on forever
spheres
shapes,
diagonals:
shifting fragments,
changing spaces....
backdrops
of the mind:
elaborate
tones
blocks of white
opaque
portents
rage
and
spill out
as moods
It stood there, the trunk
oddly on its end;
dust lay testament
to its untouched years
of keeping the past.
The lid, now a door,
which, should it open,
would spill out secrets.
No need to dig deep,
rummage, discover;
stuff would come tumbling;
the unstoppable
detritus of life,
no longer hidden.
We had the opportunity
A real dissipation of our emptiness
But why be like everyone else
We decided to court our boredom
It sat with us
Edged its way
Into fallow moments
Outside the pubs spill out
Violence is the nature
The child of their boredom
We shut the window
Turn our heads back to Camus
Form:
Nighttime is the time when
things spill out of
a child's blanket.
a broken crayon
first day of school
a first hero
a talking frog
training wheels
a tiny tow truck
heart broken
driver's license
cell phone
never home
graduation.
Nighttime is the time when
things spill out of
a child's blanket...
Exhausted entities
To breath in the exhaust
Fumes will be your fuel
Who's the fool now?
Drowning in a pool of your own spit
To find the perfect fit
Falling into a pit of ash
Uncovering your secret stash of secrets...
The truth will spill out
Get your fill of lies
Because every human's a spie of the FBI
Dark thoughts spill out of my head
I lay it down on paper with pencil led
holding onto good times from a small thread
as if they disappear every time I grab this pen
so how hard can it really be to find treasured friends
I'd rather wither an die in ignorance
but in the end I'll still yearn to repeat it all again.
…sometimes problems flow out from us
like free, running water in a blocked sink. They spill out
of control, making everyone close to feel uncomfortable
in their life walks…. There’s a state that their discomfort
is too much, that the only way to feel comfortable is to stop your problems.
You’re ignored no more….
longer than Haikus
this the form i use
till my inspiration gone
five five and seven
in lyric heaven
my pen just writes on and on.
like treasures of gold
my words in heart hold
a wealth of thought and feeling
spill out upon page
enhanced through the age
this my way of self-healing.

The night sky is full of stars
That let you be just who you are
The good, the bad, the ugly too
They all spill out when I'm with you
And when you lean in for a kiss
I truly think that my heart missed
A steady beat, but you kept going
And I kept on a steady knowing
Of your unsaid love for me
Form:
like rain
my thoughts
slowly make
their way
back to the sea
they spill out
in all directions
and become part
of an infinite ocean
like two ships
passing in the
night our thoughts
stream by and leave
a silent wake
that disappears
in this infinite ocean
but I know one day
our wakes will meet
He liked to stand out in the fresh air
And breathe in the coming storm
The clouds broiled upwards and the wind strengthen
With no doubt they would spill out to the ground
He liked the wind as it buffered him around
And the rain stung his icy face
The sun hides behind the clouds defeated
But he only wanted the wind and rain.

Tearing, open up my chest
Pulling, tugging at my heart
Burning, burning, burning, burning
Ripping, pulling me apart
Let my insides spill out
See me falling here and there
Maybe we can put me together
Performing with no center snare
Arms and chest are open wide
Wounds agape for you to see
Someone help me wipe my tears
There is no one here but me
10/28/20
When vampires fly abroad in search of blood
And poltergeists and demons do no good;
When zombies drooling, crawl up from the ground
And ghoulish spirits glide without a sound;
When bats and spiders brush across your face
And coffins spill out bodies all in lace;
A chill crawls up your spine, your hair turns green.
You know the time has come for Hallowe'en.
I AM LOST
IN A PLAYGROUND OF CHILDREN
I AM ANCHORED HERE
BY THIS LONGING
IT'S CARRIED ME
INTO THE NIGHT
AMONG THESE WARRIORS
OF PAIN
AN ENDLESS NIGHT OF WONDER
UNFAMILIAITY
IT BRINGS THE STARS CLOSER
WHEN I LOOK AT YOU
HERE
SILENCE HOVERS
IN THE HEAVY AIR
I BREATHE IN GASPS
WORDS SPILL OUT MY FINGERS
AND COLLECT ON THE PAGE
I FREE THEM
FROM THE PRISON
OF MY MIND.
