Poetry Alouette

longer than Haikus
this the form i use
till my inspiration gone
five five and seven
in lyric heaven
my pen just writes on and on.

like treasures of gold
my words in heart hold
a wealth of thought and feeling
spill out upon page
enhanced through the age
this my way of self-healing.

”Alouette, gentle allouette...Je te plumerai.”It was a song by the time when as a child I was learning French (avec beaucoup d`autres comme: Sur le pont d Avignon...on y dance...on y dance). Indeed: it is a lovely attitude to take care of thoughts, words and deeds and keep spirit in the hand of light.Your ”words in heart hold a wealth of thought and feeling”.

oh, Harry, this is SO pretty. I just love how you related your entry to poetry!! The only little thing i did not like was your use of haikus in the plural. haha. If this had been with perfect meter, it would have soared into first place!!! congrats on my winners' list.

Congratulations Harry. Very well said, this my way of self-healing. It seems most of us do this in one way or another.

When your down and kneeling and your head is just reeling. It's nice when something lift's you up. When the floor is the ceiling and you have trouble dealing. Just turn it over and fill up your cup. Hey Harry. So nice when you visit. May your pen fill with zen, again and again. Peace. :)
