A world without sun
Just a halo gleams on sea
People with faith know
Not all that exists is seen
Obscured, but the light remains
Oh, blue, blue sky that used to be,

There's something I feel that I still haven't said,
Quotes that haven't straddled my lips.
When poetry wheels don't turn in my head,
Words can cast a solar eclipse.

Venus is the only planet in the solar system
Which spins in a counter clockwise movement.
For me, her behaviour is clear like a crystal,
Out of all the planets -she is the only woman.
They will make
glass cells
filled with small
bugs that
believe in tiny universes.
They will
harvest the hydrocarbon
gasses bugs
spawn from the sunlight
to heat their coffee cups.
A solar dragonfly, flies in light
Above a pink flower each day
It’s mesmerizing to watch
It looks alive to play
With plastic blue wings
Moves back and forth

The sky darkens fast
Moon covers the shining sun
A moment in time
Shadows dance and play
Nature holds its breath in awe
Eclipse in the sky
Sun’s bright light hidden
Moon takes center stage today
A celestial show

"Golden cord, bright and bold,
Turn my efforts into gold.
Tie the luck and lock it fast,
Make this newfound plenty last.
Negative tides must now recede,

During yoga lessons, learnt the 'Surya Namaskara' pose
'Surya' as in Sun and 'Namaskara' as in salutation
So I just said hello to the sun?
But the sun did not say anything back!
Well that's rude
Someone tell him that not everything revolves around him!
Oh wait...
Sun looks smaller from there,
Arid and extremely windy.
Thick atmosphere, floats on water,
Unfathomable in our milky way.
Rings made of chunks of rock and ice,
No true surface, nowhere to stand.

A restless star,
Dreary sky,
Overshadowed by Mercury's sigh,
Saturns Capricorn as he raises high,
Gemini's love he can't deny,
Unbalanced the signs,
However draw nigh ,
Only to realize an ever changing sky,
Once incompatible,
A new era arrives.
Gemini's love,
In Capricorn's eye.

The countdown has begun
Be sure and stay tuned
To see, as our sun
Parallels the moon
A veil of crescent shadows
Will stretch across my lawn
A gentle wind's blow
And quickly they'll be gone
The sun, a pleasing strength
The temp, rather magical
Be sure not to blink
The sight will be fantastical
The solar winds push us on
As we sail the universe in song
We are a billion years old cosmic dust
Gathered together in life a thrust
Good morning star shines on each day
And supernova lights up the sky-way
We will not fade into the celestial sun
But live on as space and time is won.

I am reading my eyes in a library mirror.
I had perused a yellow book:
‘Astronomy for Dummies'.
There is a question mark behind planet X,
and the sun seems to be returning to cosmic sperm.
Jupiter has shrunk to the size of a copper penny.
Of course it’s hard to judge size in a public library mirror
that needs cleaning.
moon-spirit mettles
sun and earth orientate ~
sun kissed and moonstruck
darkness to fall now
now look .. a spark of light .. so beatiful
full solar eclipse

light will always conquer darkness
keep up the positive thinking
no matter what you go through ..
after rain comes sunshine
sunrise for sale
a pinpoint of light
find your place in the stars
elliptical orbit
afar
new definitions
of the solar system
created
found
with a timeless search
astronomers and soothsayer
cry out
this distant body
given a letter
instead of a name
the ultimate seclusion
for an infinite price
Put fossil fuel to an End
Everybody just needs to Mend
We're ruining our Ozone Layer
And our Mother earth is in Despair
Lets declare no Fossil Fuels
Otherwise we are going to revise this lesson again & again
I think there's a Trick
Lets make all our cars go Electric
Maybe use the power of Solar
Help our earth's weather from going Polar
