I saw her
I wanted her
I seduced her
Afterwards,
the lust in my heart
turned to gravel
I choked on it

Her emerald eyes
Like seas of tropical isles
Seduced me as they mesmerized
Emerald butterflies rise
As their hypnotic dance intensifies
Where everything I am
abides,
When I stray away
Seduced by the mind,
It always finds me
Brings me back to itself.
I listen
I become.
Too easily
we are seduced by moments
thinking they can be infinitely stacked
forgetting the lesson
of lyric Babel
the flip-side of Tongues.
Warm flames rekindled,
that smoke’s been absent too long.
Jumpstart ho hum hands.
Be seduced by the unknown,
embrace the colors that change.
buzzing in our dreams
soft honeybee hum wakes us

I'm seduced with time as things rewind,
Taking me back to another place…
...a place in time that I don’t have to rewind,
Because everything I want is in place.

Once seduced by his junior coworkers
Old man took his dates to the lockers
They used penile tweezers
And shagged like young weasels
Too bad he forgot beta-blockers

by what I hadn’t done
Engaged
to what I’d never wed
Married
with vows I wouldn’t take
