This is not to you, rather for you
whether you take it for granted
or count it as a favour,
The flavours you brought in
every bit of I savoured,
enchanted and mistaken,
for god's sake never waivered,
and here lied the danger,
when I'm still here as a stranger.
Spine is a thirty three stringed harp
upon which God plays when it’s dark,
imbibed by our toroidal heart,
whence bliss ignition does so start,
piercing every body vector,
causing flow of soma nectar,
savoured by presence in delight ~
such dear friends, is soul’s wingless flight.
A rainbow of flavours
In every bite
I've savoured the sweet
And the spice of each
Plunged my tongue deep
Into pain's body
The depths of which met me
Eager to parley
The difference is plain
When your body is broken
You're glad you're alive
Unlike heartache
When you just want to die.
Money licks its lips
A fervour without bound it rips
Feeding on the rich with etiquette and poise
The middle classes swallowed with grumbled noise
And screaming poor not even savoured
From a beast thats never laboured
The earth lays daily a new tablecloth
For the feast where all humanity is lost

so I savoured the elixir
in vibrant stillness
although we share
no one can pair
The thing is to die well
But I suppose that only matters in the tell
You would like to think you could say
Goodbye my friend I want you to stay
And I remember the laughs on you face
Sitting together remembering the time and place
So when the final goodbye is here
Our friendship is still savoured and held dear.

Is Missing You - Forever
I ask as I pull my hand from the telephone
a beautiful morning, I rush to tell you.
the pink iris has bloomed
I must remember to tell you,
all of life minutiae we savoured as friends
are stored on the top shelf
in the airing cupboard.
each time, I tell you,
I lovingly store it in the pink box,
for later.
Like the finest wine
You taste so good
A vintage to be savoured
Men’s hearts race
With just a wink
And a smile, well
That just slays them
A heart of gold
Lays beneath that breast
A lady of a thousand dreams
a female sensation
A vision of true beauty
Prettier than the finest flora
In all the world is our Laura.

We had a day
straight out of a dream,
perfect in every way.
We savoured our favourite dinner,
satiated, kicked back,
put up our feet.
It was pure harmony,
we didn't want it
to ever end.
Front row seats
for the best outdoor
show in town.
A mug of french vanilla
coffee in hand,
we were one with the universe.

Eternity as his message lingers on
A message for the ages now and gone
The words scrawled out on the pavement
To be wondered or savoured as heaven sent
Does it teach us the pace of the world
And what we think or as our faith now held
And Arthur Stace provided Eternity for us
As he chalked out the word on Sydney’s pavements for him enough.
