Saved the World today
In the supermarket
All I had to do
Was bring my own plastic bag
No special powers required
On this occasion
terrified humans
under God's wings refuge seek,
humanity saved!

I need a vacation she said
From all of this playing in bed
And she let him know
There’s more to love’s glow
By moving on sofa instead
Coronavirus met its doom
When sunlight streaked into my room
I can't get a tan
Because of the ban
But it saved my Fruit of the Loom!
Today, I was successful.
I wrote a poem, on a scrap paper, before tossing it away.
The sky is blue, and you are not.
Cook your chicken in a pot.

O I am saved
O am I free indeed.
Thank the Lord each day.
How he died for me.
The blood that he gave
So that I may live
In Eternity forever with Him.

excursion into being,
horizons of promise
with
innocence exhumed
life boat traversed stormy seas
rescued crew at ease

I dreamed that I lived in the sea,
So happy, contented and free.
No need to do dishes,
I fed with the fishes
'Til a sea creature tried to eat me.

A generation sought a cause
To take to the streets for
And as children rest in desolation
They are burdened
By the silence of the saved
Blooming flowers,
born under springs kiss,
rising to employ,
what life can only wish.
A second chance,
in shames forgivness,
stuttering prayers,
that produce happiness.

Was Saved Before I Sank
Someone said I am just an old crank,
When they made me walk the plank;
For God did care;
Caught in mid air,
And he had saved me before I sank.

**A series of Lanterne's
The feeling of embrace
felt that it brought me grace
to my hate
that i cannot erase
to my tainted heart
that easily tear apart
by heavy words mark
into my heart
A Fervent Whisper
I give all the credit to my Lord,
Who gave me this sharp pen!
He said just listen clear…,
and you will hear…
and do not fear…
Then, write this down…
“I love you”.

~Everybody got a heart and soul;
Everyone got a place to go;
And where should we be going;
Only Father God full-knowing;
I've established this
I am saved by His eternal grace;

prince of downtrodden
the carpenter saved your life
when you were thirsty
faraway consul
made your life a living hell
but you saved his life
the chariot race
you beat your adversary
you could not save him
Silly sally sang so many silly songs,
Sometimes silly sally sang about secret storms,
Suddenly silly sally sang about a sailing ship,
Silly sally’s song saved several slips.
