Blisters from shoes, hampered his speed
Banters from foes, sauntered to bleed
Ran barefooted, marathon booted
Ethiopia on his feet, milestone in feat....

I sauntered along
the seashore
thinking.

He walked
from
the other side
fully engrossed.

Portrait of deep pain-
showed sadness in every hue
that told a moving,
story that seized my vision.
as time sauntered by slowly.

He felt rage, consternation and a bit of miff
this gossip-y story came from his weird cousin Biff...

A magic cat
  did stretch and yawn
on a velvet carpet green
  perfection's Springtime lawn

Sauntered achingly lazy
  to a peach blossom tree
rubbed up against some petals
  then winked at me...

I sauntered freely as a child
around the mountain ridge.
On Falcon's wings I flew the mile
across the placid lake to wooden bridge,
where fir laden path skirted water;
and powdered snow the ground did alter....

Charlatan Summer
A hot air sauntered day, of early June
scalding sun smeared in salty sweat,
tears drenched a ground that afternoon
on which you laid on ice, still in death.
A cold charlatan summer, I'll never forget

.
Peace, tranquility envelope,
As on my winter stroll sauntered
Mountain high experience elope.
Spirit, mind, soul now fully aired.
Snow capped mountain picture perfect.
Lakes placid mirrored water reflect.

Into Clyde's Bar sauntered a sot named Stutz,

Sporting one of the most ponderous gutz!

Placing his gut on the bar,

He roared a hardy, "Har! Har!"

Saying, "Fill 'er up with cold beer and nutz!"

Titanium Roses In Her Pocket
And later that evening she sauntered
along the halls of the cathedral
with callous egoism jingling in her pocket
whilst chuckling of undiscerning humor
I know not the definition of such folly
though strangely I must attest that I weltered in rapture
When she evanesced with no concern for a colloquy...

New Form Implied Metaphor Poetry - What Am I
What Am I ********** Dad, thumped a warning! Silence, now pronounced. Smelt, a red patch crawling. A future death announced! What am I? The field dead, now haunted. The thumping did suffice. The patch stood, up sauntered. A thumping way of saving life! What am I?

Empty suitcase
Empty suitcase in the hall
Beckoning her to freedom
But where will she choose to go
Now the doors are wide open

Lucky as the black cat is
It envelopes her with fear
To liberate these shackles
Leaves her bereft and broken

The black cat sauntered swiftly
To the paradise beyond
Left behind a grieving wife
Emancipation unknown...

Orphan Manor
Whilst I sauntered the halls
Her face surfaced before the lantern
That beloved grin an abstract design

Though she was settled behind glass
Fashioning the imagery ‘tis window shopping
Presenting the proclamation that she’s without a price

I covet not for alienation to shape us
I hunger for a sense of harmony
For us to never have spaked of tragedy...

Darkness
Walking languidly
along the long quiet corridor,
The chilly breeze brushed against my arms,
triggering a cold streak through my bones.
Embracing myself,
I sauntered past the abandoned rooms on both sides,
the rooms in which darkness dwells.
the enigma of this darkness ,
forces me to plunge in it,
In its unfathomed depths,
 To diminish into nothingness....

Leopard lady was svelte, showy, slinky and slick.
Her spots were symmetrical, her coat good and thick.
We got out of her way when she sauntered into town.
She was gorgeous in many ways in her turquoise blue gown.
She could pop a tiny hat on her head and be fashionable and chic.
We were thrilled to see her in all her finery; she was built like a brick....

Hey What Can I Say
I know this will sound like I'm full of myself.
I'm really quite a stud.
The other night I stole a girl away from some poor dud.
I sauntered up and had my way and oooh, I tell you what.
I gave it to her good and straight and deep down from the gut.
She didn't resist when I grabbed her wrist.
And pinned her in the hall.
But then I woke like some cruel joke.
I'm not a stud at all.

A Bobolink came whistling strong
Proclaiming boundless joy
Vicariously my soul was filled
What a golden ploy

Deliberately he sauntered near
My heart he touched supreme
All other stimuli counterfeit
Simplicity now my theme

Wrung dry the hills and grooves of gray
My orchard now adorned
With music from Redbreast settled
Upon the summer's lawn

busy as the humans seemed to be ,they crashed slashed and sauntered all
around me
like the true pirates of the earth ,they claim, they brag they breathe
theyre waste supports us the vermon they claim
as we slither and wither in signs of hotter days
we are the meek we sing .living in our little pogs untouchable because were
considered nothing of value just the turn you breathe.

Drongo
Drongo

The Drongo sauntered into town,
Been eating feral chook,
His dog was in the plurry pound,
Drongo gave up a frowning look.

The Drongo was a handsome lad,
So his momma thought,
The shielas thought him kinda sad,
An teased him for some sport .

Ol Drongo got on his goat,
The Police thought he was riding,
Jailed another mate, the actual goat,
Drongo surely law abiding.
Perhaps: a Drongo.

I am a tactful poet:
She never knew the words,
So I meandered into the night
And the night was dazed, too.

I am a tactful poet:
She never knew the words,
So I composed until the verses
Trickled over southern hills
And my heart was mourning, too.

I am a tactful poet:
She never knew the words,
So with my once blithe soul
shapeless like a human without bones,
I sauntered into the dawn
To find a new, vanilla love....
