Like a Fine Champagne - Summer Quatrain
The beauty of the summer rain
lightly sating sun drenched flora
sipped just like a fine champagne
hues as bright as an aurora

Spells of luscious sound and wondrous vision
bells that fill the air with mystic tones
wells of crystal cascades sating endless thirst
dells a golden haunt for clustered stones

Wings propel red robin’s noonday flight
rings affirm a passion spanning many lives
things we hoard and blindly cast away
Kings and Queens who feast at royal beehives...

Voices Uniting
Reblessing the virtues
that time can’t bestow
Heaven awakens
a world far below

The sinner is sainted
the prophet a king
Words join in prayer
as eternity sings

The order reorders
from many comes one
Voices uniting
in breath zero sum

Moments rechristen
epiphany reigns
Fruition is sating
—in His holy name

Solitude She Seeks
Seriously searching seldom she sees
Solitude she savours so succinctly
Spaces she searches satisfying soul
Sufficiently sating silencing storm
Slowly surfacing so specially still
Sighting ships serenely sailing seas
Sonorous sounds silenced successfully

Premium Member I Wonder If You Remember
You first held my hand in rapture's own sown, green honed land.
Shared time rose our laughter through layered throes of joy-spiced air.
Your lips brushed mine with youth's stirred flair by a stream's calm stare
and we lost focus under night's starry sky as sparks dazzled our sighs -
Years haven't splayed my recall of our young sating sways in twilight rays ...

Hungering Revealed
In the sadness of a fevering heart,
Disrobed humanness can fade away,
Revealing rich spiritual realities.
The Word of God declaring His clarity,
In the futility of human hungering.

Steadfast love & justice make music,
Releasing fountains of satisfying coolness,
Calming pleading, sating needing.
Call others into the shower of joy,
& share the witness of His care....

Waiting For Supper
Rows of forgiveness
fallow in winter
Waiting for summer
 their treasure installed

Leftover morsels
heated in darkness
Sating the hunger
  of those who are called

Seeds from the past
replenish the future
Buried salvation
awaits in the ground

Fasting on yesterday
feasting tomorrow
Waiting for supper
— when dinner bells sound

Her beauty blooms the shadows – haunting
           Svelte demure, with fragile veil
Unseen to those who would possess
Just one lover – nimbus, roars with flashing eyes
Fervent kisses falling - blushing alabaster
          Druid torrents, sating every curve

Savory Flavors
Savory flavors

Tasting love,
sating a hungered palate
delicious desires served hot
Licked lips
of savory flavors
drenching me,
dripping from my chin
satisfying a desperate appetite

Sticky fingers
grasping delectable morsels
sans silverware
between sautéed folds
tempting the tongue
Nectarous juices flow
in appetizing moans
as desert comes

And who says you shouldn’t
play with your food

The Beach
My comfort lies on this beach
Looking out over the vast aqua-blue
Whose shimmering-crests
Sway under the moon’s tender glow
And melodic-clashes I long to hear.
Graceful waves ebb inward
Sating the thirsty land
Dancing as they lick my toes
Only to be pulled back out to sea again.
With each step I sink into the cold-wet sand
And leave my print,
To be slowly washed away with the coming tide.
This is my life moving forward
As the memories gently wash away with time....
