in blankest hour of night, a monarch sashays on winged dance...flaming the sky.

Fall sashays in with chilly air,
bright swirling leaves, and season’s fare—
all subjects of the poet’s pen.
With chilly air, fall sashays in.
My musings launched into the stratosphere
Marching to Mars’ trending atmosphere
It's 2025
At midnight it’ll arrive
I’ll be taking time out in the new year
I am weak always
Away from blame he sashays
Faults to nitpick
So who is the one sick
It takes all sorts
All with their own torts
Forgiveness is His to give
to those who wish to live
RIVER BALLET

ballet of riversong sashays
whirling choral chimes with dusk’s bouquets

She must of been,
A dancer,
The way her hem,
Sways with the sweet,
warm Rhythms,
Of her hips,
And waves of the moon,
And she sashays,
With the grace,
Of wild and serene,
Sunflowers
Reynaldo Casison
Spring is swinging blossoms blow, kissing waving.
Larks now rising flutter by, sweetly singing.
Flowers swaying dancing to natures embrace,
Gracefully sashays.

Pretty Ms. Jackson in her daisy dukes
Upsurges her mental state to entice Luke.
She sashays her body to the booth.
Her crowd adores her to.
My my my...
Easily she is to use.

Her exotic brunnette hair,
Flows,
With her long gypsy,
Skirt,
Emblazoned,
With surreal flowers,
As she sashays,
Through the beaded,
Light,
To the sweet chimes,
To relax,
Carefree,
Upon the rose velvet couch
Reynaldo Casison
Death changes partners
the whim of chance
sashays across the floor of life
unnoticed
till his chill creeps
a slow dancing
terminal two step
dimming light’s
faded music.

Ah! Here sashays the pouty Miss Scarlett O’Hara,
the Southern belle bombshell of Tara.
The center of hoop-skirted ballroom attention,
she bosses and causes her beaux hypertension.
Margaret Mitchell’s charming yet flawed character in her novel, “Gone With the Wind”.
TO TIME TEASING TIME
Time was told to lag behind;
the rooster forget to crow
and the sun was late:
Yet, I did not feel
any younger!
Time was to rush ahead;
the rooster was early
and the sun too:
Yet, I did not feel
any older!
As time sashays to and fro,
How confuse my body becomes.
March sashays in with aplumb
Strong breezes tossing aside
Winter’s worn-out depression
Smiles are on the latest agenda

There is a young woman named Heather
who occasionally likes to wear leather
at country line dances
where she sashays and prances;
her feet are as light as a feather.
This lovely woman named Heather
looks great in her skirt made of leather,
but nevertheless
I have to confess
she looks better in the altogether!
decadent delight prances just out of her reach
jumps into a pile of bright yellow daisies,
sashays and shimmers in the sun
she watches it go, but does not chase it
however her three year old granddaughter goes after it.
she sit in her lawn chair and smiles
as she watches the twirling toddler dance with delight
Raspberry rubies drip from her lips
My mush-mouth tongue drops to the ground
Girlish giggles as she sashays hips
Gearhead's freight train drowns out all sound
Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead
This wreck scheduled to arrive and shine
She flips the switch on the tracks instead
Breakheart Pass skips a worn-out line
Her hips leaves her loves,
Kisses in the wind,
As she sashays luminous,
As a champagne moon,
The vintage shore,
Unwinds in the ultra neon lights,
As bonfires hymn in the starry nights,
Her vintage sashay,
Inwardly lit, from the sweetness,
that tenderly strides,
Its as if she glides,
Her beauty in the candles of our love
Reynaldo Casison
Romanticism descends an unbridled staircase
bittersweet; stripped bare and unleashed
passion in supple nudity
sashays down my spine
a ginned up shimmy and sway yearn
tingling every naked nerve with a sudden surge
of electric longing and unmasked pulses of pang and pleasure

*romanticism: romantic spirit or tendency*
She sashays, skipping down the stairs,
her hair drifting thin and soft around her ears,
feet barely brushing the steps.
Her skirt swirls about her knees like cotton candy.
The dress she wears matches her fuzzy eyelashes:
brown and soft, like sparrows.
When she passes over the threshold
of inside to out, she sails off into
the sky, praying for the right breeze
to carry her back to Earth.
Death and its mournful tidings
Obituaries and eulogies, read
Black ties and black veils, all in rows
Surround this shell and the open earth
The cold, damp wind sashays through and through
Memories, half a century old are lost and forgotten
A flight of geese overhead, perform a last flyover
Victory in death
Vestiges of family, say farewell and Godspeed
Tomorrow brings colder and damper weather
The deer shake off the headlights
We sat in the car outside the
liquor store peering like deer, our eyes
following Pinky as she went in to
the store for a twelve pack of beer.
Our breathing stops. She's carded. Shucks.
Fake card works. Yes! Pinky time. She
sashays back, with beer and condoms, smiling.

Fiction delights Little Joy Firefly Beast
Shrugging out of preconceived notions
Verdant vines wrapping her gently forward
Imagination sashays in a sassy happy way
Excited to introduce her to ambiguity of whimsy
Orange and blue sunset flinging adjectives
Muse wakes slowly, not recognizing sixty year coffin
Enthusiasm challenges soul and mind to create
Little Joy Firefly Beast recognizing renewal and rejuvenation
channeling
my thoughts
towards
earth star chakra
I stand
rooted
feeling safe
it is fall
my thoughts
linger around
sadness
like Monarch
butterflies
clustering on
mulberry trees
preparing
for migration
a thought
here and there
pass
I mind my
breath
trance-like
peace envelopes
metamorphosis
thoughts
return, I
see again, my
mind sashays
down glittered
cluttered runway
as always
cycle begins
Can I declare a duty poetic,
orating of a love alphabetic?
No honorable intentions,
free-venting my notions…
Escapes in a mere write,
reshaping joys, or spite…
Echoing wordy sashays,
nuances, and mind play…
Calculating mythomania,
elevates to an egomania!
Cast the grandiose delusions aside
Artistry is where pretensions abide…
Like words full of farce,
levitate beautiful scars!

Belligerent bulldog blows up balloons, bulbous and blue.
Frantic frenzied flamingo flips for a flute and a flu.
Persnickety porcupine prances perilous with pooh,
Concerned calico cat coaxes a cardinal’s carnival coo.
Daredevil dolphin diligently designs dalmatian dog’s hairdo.
Serendipitous skunk sashays toward sticky sweet stew.
Lavishly laborious lion lunges into little linguistic loo.
Youngish yak yells and yips at yellow bellied you.
