Lingers With Singers and Bell Ringers
Love of God always lingers;
Heard in voices of singers;
Seen in face;
Race and place;
And in fingers of bell ringers.

More fresh jillaroos sniffing around each day Jake observed.
His fellow stockman nods. They like being ringers I guess.
This brings us fresh jackaroos, so it is okay by me....

Winters In Florida 1
Walking alone on the beaches, I caught
images of "my kids", their dead ringers.
Missing their hugs and kisses. Diddlysquat!
I long for stepped-on toes, sticky fingers.
My winters in Florida are really not so very hot.

Premium Member The Swinger Doors
There once was a couple of old swingers
Whom were said to be more than just flingers
As they swung 'cross the floors
With huge knobs, like some whores
You should have seen the size of their ringers

time for midnight bells
              close this year of covid hell
                   just then silence fell
             ringers don’t show feel unwell
    not sick ~ rope burns ~ hands have swelled

Jingle Bells
Christmas shopping I will go
Red kettles at department stores
Sidewalks covered in snow
Bell-ringers spreading Christmas joy

Volunteers bring Christmas cheers
Give a dollar or two or more
For the needy the bells ring clear
Red kettles need to be filled

Goodwill is in the air
Giving donations is what it's about
For those in despair
It's the Christmas sharing and giving part

A Christmas Feeling
Christmas an engagement diary
Yuletide enduringly
A snapshot of nativity
Brings such generosity

Love and joy everywhere
Carolers and cheerful ringers
Singing into the night winter
Under lights shimmering color

While hymning with blessing
At the same time appearing
From the heavens afar
A single solitary star

A most moving capture
Of energy and fervor
To fill the part
Of christmas in my heart...

They call me the BBQ slinger
Well known for my back to back ringers
My aim is dead true
When I'm tossin' them shoes
I could wrap round' a bumble bee stinger.

My skill with the irons well known
These rookies all covet my throne
I'm the king of the pit
They best deal with it
Cause these beers put me right in the zone

I'll conquer till' no one remains
And brag of ice water filled veins
Not even a test
to prove I'm the best
And poised to continue my reign....

Winters In Florida 2
sestets

Florida winters are not so keen.
Walking the beaches, I keep seein’
"my kids" or at least their dead ringers.
Can’t say I miss wet, sticky fingers,
cold shoulders, icy stares from my teens.
It’s warm hugs I miss, hugs that linger.

I can’t wait to get back home to Maine
and be welcomed by arms unrestrained.
Her weather left to God’s good graces;
Maine is not the coldest of places.
Of her stark wind and ice I’ll complain,
but she holds the warmest embraces....

Bells
My bells, are shared with you,
At the ringing in of the taut day
And the ringing out of the mayfly

The bells, brazen, lucid, warm,
Silence the chatter of the clouds,
Bring solace to a weary ear

And the peeling bellow of the rim,
The clatter of the clapper, urged on by
Yolk, the busy carillon two octaves tall

Falls quiet the nightfall comes, tied the
Ringers’ rope on wooden stop; cadence,
Hum, now spins the air in hollow cup
