Winters In Florida 1

Walking alone on the beaches, I caught
images of "my kids", their dead ringers.
Missing their hugs and kisses. Diddlysquat!
I long for stepped-on toes, sticky fingers.
My winters in Florida are really not so very hot.

Thanks, Tim, my daughter-in-law has a Monday night supper for family since her two of her kids are grown and she wants some family-together time. Sometimes it is the only time I see my oldest grandson. I welcome those suppers.
