I'Ve Spent All Day
I've Spent All Day

I Stand By My Quote
This just might be a deal breaker,
But I do sound smarter on paper!

Reflecting On Writing
Writing right is less redundant than righting writes..
But in retrospect…
rewriting writes is relevant to writing right.

Inspired by Caroline Cecile D's comment on writing....

Pre-Post, Post-Post, Sometimes You Are the Post
If writing a message please mind your mind,
Exude effort to keep your thought on center.
As righting a wrong means you’re in a bind,
Because you didn’t think when you hit “enter.”...

Of the Fleur De Lis
Gentle woman of masculinity,
Her passion for the above never matched,
A war time hero leading down the path,
Fighting for the righting of all mans’ ways,
A heroine she was that Joan of Arc....

Left and Right
mindlessness is possible
if you've lost your mind
left your mind in left field
and left it left behind

righteousness is possible
if you've lost your rights
righting wrongs, right away
on the right side of the fence...

Whiteflowers Pome
A pome _a heart without a home,
finding its way alone no song
singing endlessly in time
never drinking wine but sober this time
righting words in the nite and then
writing them on paper that never crinkles
sensing smiles in ladies dimples
wondering at love....

One More Smile
Have I lived long enough,
have I said what I came to say

Is my spirit now to rest,
has the toll-way back been paid

Have I lived long enough,
being willful, righting wrongs

A last heartache twice forgiven
—one more smile before I’m gone

(St. David’s Pennsylvania: February, 2020)...

Icarus
Yes, it's true; he fell.
But that he tried-----Nay!
Gave his all!----
His new knowledge,
His life's strength,
His whole will, till-----
"Up, Icarus, up!"-----
His self-made, self-said name
On righting wings of pride
Soared up through the centuries!
Yea! e'en now I hear it,
"Up, Icarus, up!"...

Frays
Dancing on a common thread
Lost are thoughts while on the edge
A bitter sting
An ego gone
Conscience flooded
Righting wrongs
Heart overflowing
Purpose no place
Crawling from the bottom
Emerged no disgrace
The end the beginning
Life has no plot
Frayed at the end
From lifes twisting knots...

Someday I will get right
Things to make you leave
And not be home at night
If you need to just breathe
As I take air from the room
When it all seems to seethe
Before we turn into dust
You can grow to remember
I will regain your trust
Making our love like a song
Working toward true harmony
To leave what becomes wrong...

What's the Buzz Haiku
wonder of spring
   mystery and beauty bring...
      let creation sing

lilting glory songs
   righting all of winter's wrongs...
       tames the heart that longs

summer's 'round the bend
chill of darkness soon to end...
        blooms and buds ascend

Hidden Surrender
Knives go through my eyes
Lungs drowning
Heart beats burns my soul
A whistle in the dark

Empty photos
A life cease to exist

A travel through time
Righting the wrong
My first day on earth
My first murder
A hidden surrender

Eyes shut
Eternal freedom
Dreams turn to nightmares
Another fail
A repeating loop in time...

Reflection of a Killer
your predisposition to fearlessness is what makes
you a warrior unfortunatley it is also what grants
you the tools to become the perfect killer.. in an era
born of cowards confusion and expression it is easier
to satisfy the desire of righteousness through righting
the wrongs by spilling the blood of those who
knowlingly and willingly choose to remain ignorant......

Racing the moonlight
Chasing the starlight
Facing the spotlight
Embracing my fate

Adoring the good rhymes
Ignoring the lost dimes
Exploring the fast times
It's boring to wait

Inviting the sad songs
Righting the bad wrongs
Fighting the mad throngs
Igniting my hate

Whoever the pain stings
Whenever the heart sings
Whatever the day brings
It's never too late...

Activity #17
Man created her,
And man destroyed her.
Now mother nature is taking over.
The wind shuffles the bones.
The tree branches reform her.
She is made anew.
She will walk among men.
Doing what must be done,
Righting what was wrong,
And doing what no others will do.
She was once human,
But now she is not.
Reformed from what was once dead,
And she can never be stopped......

Beautiful People

The world is full of beautiful people
With beautiful ideas
Of saving the world
Making a difference
Righting all wrongs
By just telling others what they think
And what they should think.

The world is full of skin deep beauty
Hiding the ugly truth
Of such useful idiocy.

Their Power To Steal
The charlatans bankrupted
his checking account,
but his love was not overdrawn

Each check that he wrote,
each choice that he made,
trading ingots for righting a wrong

With credit denied
and spirit affirmed,
he continued to endorse what was real

Until bankers and lawyers
destroyed with one stroke,
his wishes—their power to steal

Disapointed
disappointed i am
i thought you loved me
so why do you rejected me
all this time you lied
protect you from my friends i did
please give me a chance
on the day i ask you out you reject me
i never thought you would do that
now i sit here righting you this
tell me again how much you love me
enough of this i have had
don't think i will give up because i will always love you...

The Last Rhyme
Smiling the same smile
Making the same mistakes
Walking the same path
Singing the same songs

Dreaming the same dreams
Loving the same girl
Breathing the same air
Righting the same wrongs

Signing the last truce
Reaching the last fork
Holding the last hand
Casting the last line

Waltzing the last waltz
Humming the last tune
Paying the last bill
—rhyming the last rhyme

(Dreamsleep: July, 2023)...

Premium Member This Hippie Van Is Headed South
This hippie van is headed south
To Arizona’s crimson mouth.
We were singing all the weirdo songs.
Righting the rights, ignoring wrongs.

Pulling people in along the way
We pulled a cereal killer in to play
He ate all of the cheerios we ever had
When he left we were all glad

Don’t keep inviting strangers in said maw
We had picked her up in Omaha
The songs continued, we sang the day away
Picking more strangers up along the way....

Annie Oakley
a little girl with braids a-flyin
a stick pony without a head
righting the wrongs of childhood
when others don't play along

I rope my brother, tie him down
make him the bad guy, make him frown
he's not that happy, playin my game
Annie Oakley, runs away
before he can tell mom

I grew up, put Annie aside
forgot about her for a very long time
now that I go to the range and shoot
Annie has returned
once again to right the wrongs
Annie has returned...
