Revolved around me and you?...

Mayberry
Take a step back to a simpler place,
Where the world revolved at a slower pace.

Think about Andy, Opie, Barney and Aunt Bee,
Enjoying life in the small town of Mayberry....

Resolved To Get Involved
Resolved To Get Involved

What I have resolved,
Is to get involved
I will grab my coat
Go out and vote
Around in circles revolved.

Isn't this how you feel sometimes?

Evidence Revolved and Revolved
Evidence Revolved and Revolved

What had happened was we became involved,
As evidence around us revolved and revolved;
Became dizzy,
Being busy,
Until Trump replacement problem was solved.

Debate Became Heated
Debate Became Heated

There were two groups who each other greeted;
At a drastic debate that had become heated;
Rhetoric for sure;
Hard to endure,
And revolved in a circle which was repeated.

Classic Casanova
Does a classical-band ever howl?
It has been said a classical-band’s odd.
Yet as the coarse strippers revolved
And the sallow evening faded,
A civilian said she heard the classical-band howl
When the lips of dawn had matured....

Premium Member End of a Universe
An astronomer in Central Park
gazed at the starry sky.
How will it end, he asked the dark?
How will the universe die?
And as cosmology revolved, in his diverted mind:
The answer for him was solved:
A quick blow from behind.

Revolution
Revolution = transformation + innovation:
Revolution ….. How does it come?
Is it by war?
Past generations revolved in that, the aftermath, so much to resolve
Is it by information?
This generation is acting the script no preemption....

Crimes Unknown
Confused and often left alone,
usually for crimes unknown,
no dialtone on the telephone,
prayers prayed in monotone.

The Earth revolved under our feet,
while cracks widened in concrete,
we sensed our world was incomplete,
as they wallowed in deceit.

Guzzle Down Puzzle Before It Does Fizzle
when we would guzzle
great and astounding puzzle
was sure to fizzle

solution resolved
around answer revolved
while we were involved

about abortion
always out of proportion
also distortion

had been a dump cluck
when we became put of luck
out steering wheel stuck...

I Realize Now What I Knew Before
I realize now what I knew before
That I do not need you
And I never have
It used to seem like my life revolved around your presence
A planet to its sun
A moon to its earth
And now that we are done
I'm orbiting myself
And the others around me
While you are nowhere in sight...

Miss You
I miss you
Can't get you off my brain
I miss you
It's driving me insane
For a while my life has revolved around you
Can't help wondering if you miss me too
It's weird
I'll probably never show you this
For fear
You'll know what my true feeling is
Had to get it out somehow
I wish you knew
How much I miss you...

As She Revolved...
The storm of absolution
broke the headache in relief
with the lightning of redemption
drowning earth in blanket grief
The sky went dark at noon's abyss
and cleared the land, tsunami kiss
The flood of restitution
blew the mind of all involved
with just a touch of slowing the earth
in her orbit, as she revolved....

And So It Begins
And so it begins
A new life meant for two
But now I am a traveller all alone
On a path not yet treaded.

Finding hope
Giving life new meaning
Searching a new purpose
To go on
Day after day.

Yet every time I think about you
I wonder what went wrong
For you were my universe
And I revolved around you....

Break Up Whine
His evasion of responsibility inexcusable…
though behaviour of this being as per usual
originally from broken where never taught devotion
great pity he grew without learning.
Fidelity and faithfulness insignificant
from the superficial apathetic participant
thus emptiness diverged from initial love of splurge
revolved...evolved am now to be discerning....

Horn Horrific Haiku
found natural flow
now where will I have to go
who would tell me so

my poems are greatest
unless may be a sadist
read my poems latest

they slowly dissolved
what around had they revolved
with poems are involved

reality stark
either daylight or in dark
read my poems in park

a blanket statement
make sure you know what you meant
may have to repent...

Linda Marie
A beautiful southern belle
With light complexion, black hair.
We met in Mississippi,
And i fell in love with her there.

She was a friend and lover,
Whom i loved with all my heart.
My whole world revolved around her,
Though we had problems from the start.

We weren't married very long
And that i do regret.
Although we had our differences,
I love that woman yet....

The Unrepentant Betrayal
Covered in the mist of mistrust
Stood the mistress,
Emotions as vivid like a rainbow,
Sunk deep into her eyes,
The faint sound of her wink, her breath,
Her heart beat along with her whisper ;
A seductive melody, you would never forget.
Like the moon, who broke
wedding vows with the night sky,
As it felt suns warmth,
My heart and body revolved around her
Until dawn....

The Truth.
Lost in whatever light that covers me from the truth.
But sometimes the truth is so complicated.
I can't understand it thought, because my life is revolved around lies.
These lies are the darkness.
the darkness that surrounds me suffocates me, intoxicates me.
And no matter how hard i try, nothing changes.
It never goes away.
I'm stuck in the darkness, trapped forever, until I'm saved....

Ignited Ignored
Ignited Ignored
The ways of man so revolved,
The rate of time sped off,
The realities of life swayed off.

Ignited like a candle yet rejected like a shuttle,
Unattended so idle,
With potential so boundful.

Ignore me now that I am ignited,
Recall me then when I am off,
I might still hope under your shades.
Under your light although I shine,
It's nothing in the eyes of nothing....

Nearness
I love thee more than all the Earth, so nullified
that of my Soul do love as qualified

with only thy apprentice, thy resolved.

And I am pregnant with it so revolved
that every force within me is evolve
to thy full presence given, God's absolve
that nearness ever blessed, ever row ~

and only truth can render its involve!...

Premium Member A Solution for Better News

Because of goings-on during the night
the morning news is rarely bright.
I think the problem might be solved
if the planet never revolved
but kept its face in full sunlight
untouched by the evils of night.
That way, morning news might be
less depressing for everybody.
But, then, and a likely upshot
after years of bad news, the shock
of waking up to a world of good news
could be fatal, more bad news....

Who I Used To Be
Who i used to be, no one knows.
Weeping and crying never showed
I thought I was cool with that stick in my hand
But it all revolved around a man
A man who would lead me to do bad things
I was like a puppet on a string
Blinded by the love that was so naive
He was one thing I thought I might need
Who I used to be is different than who i am now
I am stronger than i was yesterday
Kinder if you will
Who i used to be, no one knows....

Nostalgia
Can’t we just go back,
Back to that day,
We have just met,
The spark in ur eyes, that warm smile,
Something stirred, tugged at my heart.
But I didn’t know anything yet.

Can’t we just go back,
Back to the days,
The warm summer nights,
The carefree sunny days,
When there were just two of us,
& my world revolved around you.

Oh! What happened to the days,
Where I could only think about you,
Now just the memories tucked away somewhere,
Deep buried in my heart....
