Shadows Weave

Stars light
the beckoning dawn
Shepherds sleep
the wolves have gone
Shadows weave
 the morning wind
Eyes reopen
—deep within

Aquamarine

Moments of sadness
Where have you gone?
You never were mine
So self, carry on
Time is a healer
Great wounds cauterize
But scars will reopen
When I think of those eyes

skating upon saturn’s rings

         skating upon saturn’s rings

             endless ice cold arcs
     innards of past moons shattered
            blades reopen wounds
in my wake scars and chaos
proof ~ that I was never here

Sweep the Mind

sweep the mind
of memories
brush those
memories under
the rug
clear the mind
of all evidence
of their existence
lock the door
where those
memories reside
never reopen that
door ever again
keep it shut tight

Love Elucidation

A
Soft
Whisper
Tells to your
Captive strangled heart
To reopen the closed curtains
Flowing freely a crystalline manantial of love
Trembling violently inner fibers that were sleeping in an hibernating state

Find a Way To

find a way to
recreate the
bond that once
existed
is the goal of
the broken heart
a heart that has
many scars and
many wounds
that can never
heal
wounds reopen
scars grow in
number each
and every time
a false chance
is given

Last Reflection

Marking time in present tense
  old memories left to rust

The past a distant reverie
  its truth beyond my trust

Looking straight into the sun
  my eyes reopen wide

A last reflection staring back
  —remembrance so divine

Psycho Circling

There's a psycho at work
Sniffing out my bleeding
Feeding on a carnage
To reopen the wounds
A vulture with road kill
Indulging in a pain
She can never feel
She enjoys victims
There wreckage to steal
What a sick mind
To play that kind of sign
I know her game
I don't play the same
I will heal

Platonic Lust

It is self tormenting
and arguably a case of poetic voyeurism
I do not like muses
I like them closer than that
no definition, just being there
the style, the perfume
and art of a persona
sitting next to me, talking
while I, for a brief span of a second
close my eyes and reopen
in an intellectual daze

Home Work

This World is going to be restarted
Sooner the schools ready to reopen
Asked to get closed all school goers
Distanced from schools from all corners
Some kids may not send back to schools
Nancies to take in hand new set of tools
Edisons to teach what are learning norms
Learn to earn not but to live, from homes

The Thing About Wounds Is

Wounds close and reopen..You may heal temporarily, you may even walk away, get up every morning, go to work, live your life..
Then one day the wound sits and stares at you as you open the fridge 50 times in one night
The wound cries to you while you're in the shower, and bleeds all over your bed
Scars are Permanent

When Day Becomes Night

When day becomes night
And night becomes day
The cycle continues
With less on display
For chapters reopen
And life unrehearsed
The card that you played
Was never dealt first

The life that you want
Is merely in reach
And wanting is lacking
While lacking is need
You've spoken much softer
Than many will know
But feeble the child
When he comes unprovoked

Abracadabra

Abracadabra

Say Abracadabra, Ala kazam
Jette with Bibity Bobity Boo!
Array a wish that your heart makes
Displays Hocus-Pocus! Poof! Magic comes true!

Open wide Seasame – first star to the right –
Reopen happy thoughts for magical things
Tokens of pennies fly from wizard’s wands
Spoken Shazam - Presto Chango on wings!

Introduction

something awry all over
cant go on like this forever
the ways of survival of our quality of water
whine and ale
the scene to solve the situation
and the chaos of the intoxication
we caved to survive
finaly accomplished logic amidst our stupor
showcase it for everyone to make something useful out of the experience

interlude curtians reopen scene two
things improved

Secret Pain

I'll bury my pain deep inside
so no one can see it
so no one feels sorry for me
I don't need your pity.

I'll just go about life like usual
fake a smile, laugh it off
when deep down inside
I can hardly breathe

It's like ten million pounds on my chest
ten million scars that reopen and bleed
they cut so deep into my flesh
it's like deadly hands grasping at my throat
suffocating me, killing me

For My White Rose

Soft the petals of my rose that draws
a thought through time
so close yet distant beyond mortal reach
doors closed never to reopen
for the Earth lost her magic
on a last breath
no questions
no answers
just words flowing from a pen
unspoken and unheard
whispers on the winter winds
yet dark wings must rise
and meet the dawn
so like a snowflake the white petal falls
back into time
and still I miss you

Nocturnal Entertainment

As day closes its pastel curtains,
In preparation on Nature’s stage.
The curtains reopen as earth darkens,
For the next act...

The stage is set for a dark play,
As the actors shimmer in the sky.
The moon takes the stage,
Interacting with the shadows.

Reciting sonnets of soft moonlight,
Radiating romance through the cricket crowd.
The coyotes howl for an encore,
As the act goes into intermission,
To set the stage for day...

The Wound II

The scab is gone
The scar not quite so vivid
No more clawing to relive the pain
No more needing to feel again
The wound is nearly healed

Through delicate care
And careful protection
And through considerations plenty
The urge to reopen
To feel the blood flow
Has been replaced by a desire to heal

Yet I can't protect it forever
Rmeinders of you are everywhere
They make somethings unavoidable
Including the realization
That my heart still belongs to you

Spark

what is this difference that I feel
this fire and energy
from the very first moment
this instant chemistry

are you using the heavy artillery?
I don't think it's needed
if this is you au natural
you're sweeping me off my feet

just the electrical spark
that I've been looking for
infused right from the start
as you reopen that door

your words are just like poetry
an arrow straight through to my heart
as one misses the opportunity
another takes it and runs

Break Free

This is just a solid body
but in within i have a heart to feel
a mind to think, to learn and to act
to be a whole new being

Time has flown away
without me noticing
I never thought i have lost so many time
yet, this bricks of walls surrounding me won't crumble

I was raised in a selfish kind of love
a chapter of life i won't dare to reopen
I have a future
my fears kept me away from moving

I'm captivated
I was wrong
I need something to hold on to
I need help

If the Moment Repeats

If you want to accomplish something,
  stop talking

If you want to get somewhere,
  start walking

If you want to be someone,
  stop wishing

If you find your table bare,
  start fishing

If the door remains barred and closed,
  knock again

If the meaning lags behind intent,
  yourself befriend

If the sentences won’t start or end,
  reopen your heart

If the moment repeats again the same,
  with love—restart
