At Any Rate
At any rate, it's going to be epic
Its going to be amazingly bold
Awesomely cool
Just plain right legendary
It'll be twisted
It'll be renounced
It'll be (for lack of a better word)
Flumongous!...

our muse was shy
so mind was caged
and rendered impotent
so ceasing all striving
we renounced the urge
to conjure a verse
whereupon we were graced
by a thunderous bliss surge

there’s a learning in this
which the ego missed...

Come closer, oh dear soul, why this distance? Have we not renounced, both fears and dark desires, that has veiled God’s light from us? Where lies bliss of which scriptures speak? How long must we languish in darkness?

If Only To Make Her Smile
as if renounced
her somber eyes
speak to me
as she stands
on her sidewalk alone
this Christmas day

i stroll towards her
as i have every holiday
since his passing
with gift in hand
always hoping
to see her smile
like old times

i draw tears
from downcast eyes
as i leave with stains
upon my shoulders
feeling defeated
again...

In Bed
I’m never one to loll in bed
Unless I’m feeling sick.
A couch or chair would always be
My lounge or reading pick.

At times I’ll do a sofa sprawl
When glued to the TV
But only when I’m ailing is
The bed the place for me.

Of late, a virus and a cold
Have dropped in unannounced
So here I am in bed, my normal
Lounging spots renounced....

Can we stake our life, oh dear soul
On our affirmed belief
Have we renounced each egoic goal
Giving ourself relief

Is void-centric our awareness
Nonchalant to outcomes
Presence vibrant in blissfulness
As the song divine hums

Are we yet trapped in lower mind
In bondage to desire
Have we left every fear behind
Free from earthy quagmire

Hymns above the leaves,
Only my sadness renounced.
Muffled miracles abroad.
Everything goes without saying.
Sliding into happiness,
Whooshing into wonder.
Eviscerate all logic.
Enumerate all grace.
The stars can't sing your song enough times.
However many times you may doubt,
Others ignite from your flicker.
Mountains carve homes for you
Everytime your praise is sung....

Premium Member Our Divinity Within
Captive since our birth, in a man made cult,
noticed that sun shines on all equally,
thus renounced scriptures; shifted to occult,
whereupon we transformed magically,
bliss divine sublime, filling us fully.
God omnipresent; we begin within
feeling benign grace, graze upon our skin,
soft touch, immediate and intimate,
as we immerse our soul fully therein,
thus gyrate to throb that never abates.

Spanish Guitar
When will she learn to play, to rise the spirits?
Ancestral spirits yearn for the old glories -
Where forth the strength occupies vacuum;
Despair filled it well!

Let's dance to the sonorous voice of the strings
Let it call out the feeble days
Renounced with a tether that blows the mind
Shattered it seems - the fire
The lights it shire!

Let's dance to the rhythm
Waggling tails
For hunger of it, our souls cry out for!...

Deserted
    Desolate
    Destitute
    Empty
    Homeless
    Isolated
    Lonesome
    Reclusive
    Solitary
    Abandoned
    Alone
    Apart
    By oneself
    Companionless
    Estranged
    Forsaken
    Godforsaken
    Left
    Lone
    Outcast
    Rejected
    Renounced
    Secluded
    Sinking

    Twenty-four black roses
    Hanging around my neck
    Twenty-four hangmen
    Collecting on loves debt...

held within the womb of space
pampered by the flow of time
reflections in the hall of mirrors
shape shift for our heart’s delight

desire the cause of manifestation
hermits claim to have renounced
a negation that is surely delusional
for do they not celebrate each heartbeat

as dreams within dreams on earth unfold
perhaps freedom lies in vibrance of innocence
embracing and releasing each life offering
orientation unclinging, childlike heart singing...

White Horse
The White Mare
the incoming tide made an island out of
the sand bank where I sat, king for a day,
made a crown of coarse grass
but since I only ruled over a few crabs, who
bit my finger when I shook their claws, I
renounced my crown and swam ashore.
Sanitation workers, in blue overalls and
logo, heckled me since I was not like them
and they made fun of my crown.
On an incoming wave a white mare came,
bareback I mounted and gently the horse
trotted amongst the awestruck workers...
