Is when I am drunk...

Working On the Outside
After so many years working remotely
For the sake of my kids and family
   It is glorious to know
Of my expertise I can crow
And our cash flow has increased most radically!...

Premium Member O dear, Chanticleer
Chanticleer has a big problem, clearly
Now that so many folks work remotely
     He crows and he crows
     But at heart he knows
You sleep late ~ bye-bye job security

Length of Time
Watching unreality tv shows
when suicide is acted
and tears of actors
remotely run down your face
Perfection and indifference met by smile
that seems to fade
a mile in the future...

Premium Member Some Eyes
At some cracks in time
one can perhaps peek
into some
   eyes
And immediately see
   the Other
   run run run
'til only dual black pinpoints
   remain...
vaguely
remotely
staring
   back
   at you
across an abyss....

Premium Member Bad Rap
They really do get a very undeserved bad rap,
for being filthy. Can you imagine that?
The only other animal I have ever seen,
that comes remotely close to grooming itself as obsessively,
as does the common rat,
is maybe possibly the common house cat....

Premium Member The Irony
naively I assumed
everyone is driven
by a craving
for happiness

nothing could
be further
from the truth

were it even
remotely true
and things so simple
we would all know
peace on earth

Premium Member I Stared Out Into November
I stared out into November
the only person in the world
at this time in this place
seeing the streams of sun
lighting up this wheat field

I wondered if anyone else
had ever seen this scene?
or one remotely like it?
the silence was heavenly
daybreak beckoned me
i was entranced...

Premium Member Enjoy Nsa
Ever since I discovered that any government agency,
can activate the camera and microphone on my flat screen TV,
remotely and violate my privacy,
I have been being as gross as I can possibly be,
everything from picking my nose to playing with cat feces.
Enjoy NSA,
Have A Great Day....

Premium Member The Future, Staring Right At Me
A pretty young girl walked right up to me
stuck in her finger in my belly and decreed

'You're old and useless, you should die'
but before I could cry, the pretty girl let fly:

'The future belongs to us, the young and the strong'
~ and it's not remotely possible that she's wrong...

Premium Member Remotely
I snuck away
found a remote
haven
closing the door
behind me
to listen
with delight
as the rhythm
of crystal sounds
rang loud and clear
silent bells
in total harmony
an exquisite bubble
of sweet nothingness
surrounding me

Premium Member He Waits
The designer’s all-pervasive light shines remotely
during the travel time allotted for your journey.
Its invisible rays will guide you like the pole star
to the end of your path where He waits for you.

A Multitude of Woes
As a young man,
I was always obsessed
By melancholy,
I saw deep sadness
As glamorous and romantic,
The quality
That so tormented my heroes,

Such as Arthur Rimbaud,
Sergei Esenin,
And Montgomery Clift.
But it's not...
It's not remotely romantic,
When you yourself are adrift,
And weighed down by a multitude of woes....

Premium Member Unsealed Confession
I am violent
speaking over peace.

I help those who love me
weep
as joy grows too remotely possible.

I am always angry without cause
for love.

I lie
when truth feels too accessible,
intimate.

I kill innocent life
to decompose curiously decadent death.

I evil in ecological despair
as I might live in more patient ecopolitical faith....

Pash Pash
Antihacking software
They can remotely control
Our vehicles.
Spyware is untraceable and cheap.
The Invisible God making a script
To make audeince for your
destruction.
They know where you are
And have access to your plans.
The one with the chip?
Performance
Handling
And steering.
We need to remove the curtains
From these satan's.
Even if it is there job!...

Premium Member The Girls From Worchester
In the army I was stationed for basic training close to Worchester Mass. The girls there never pronounced Worchester even remotely close to the way it is spelled. The name would sound more closely like Woostah. So, this poem is dedicated to them and their uniqueness.

Here's tah

Hands
muffled nails against bars
uncleaned under the surface
stained with crusted lies
dirt built up from shallow promises

bloodied and bitten to the bed
raw from anxiety

unkept
both sides
none of these nails remotely perfect

a destroyed image of the hands

callused scarred, softness hardened up

there was some sort of twisted beauty in it
unsure of whats its attraction
making it so mesmerizing...

Putins botched invasion is going south
I think NATO should give him a way out
Chocolates stuffed with TNT
And then set off remotely
As he stuffs them in his fat evil mouth...

Be music to our ears to hear him scream
But sometimes in life things aren't what they seem
I came to with loud beeping
Was woken from my sleeping
And sadly it turned out to be a dream...

Premium Member Evil and All His Friends
You say the devil made you do it
Yet evil and all his friends deny that
You choose the path, so is it in your mind
Where evil resides, or is it elsewhere
Like an external control, remotely possible
Evil and all his friends deny that again
You observe, absorb, digest stimuli
By the millions and you choose
What happens next
The question is, is evil and all
His friends real, or just an excuse
To justify what you choose?...

The Myth of Mona Lisa
Ignoramus in art, you'll say of me.
I've tried hard, but still
can't see

that Mona Lisa's mystic smile
known to bewitch folks
even from a mile!

Seems she parts her lips daintily
to let a hiccup out
gracefully

or a vulgar burp, hyperacidity,
or hide nicotinic teeth
artfully.

None in her mouth's coy symmetry
remotely resembles
a mystery.

Could it be dental deformity?
Y'see I took up ortho-
dentistry....

Premium Member Bring Back Slavery
I am in favor of bringing back slavery,
but only slaves who wouldn't take their exploitation personally,
slaves that would cater to our every need,
without us needing to feel even remotely guilty.
Such slaves do exist today presently,
ready to serve us night and day our every need.
I only hope I see in my lifetime this new age of slavery,
when all of our most greatest of technologies,
are the slaves provided for everybody....

Run
I disgust myself with my idiocy…
I want to break the mirror at the mere sight of me…
I deserve nothing or no one…
Not worth a bullet in a loaded gun…
I am furious at myself for what I’ve become…
I deserve the pain; don’t need to be numb…
Yes, I’m self-loathing, but you would hate me too,
If you knew me even remotely like I do…
There is no redemption for what I’ve done…
It’s hard to hide from yourself when there’s nowhere to run…...

Pain
Where does this emotion of pain evolve?
Who decided that amongst all
Other feelings
One would signify defeat

Who would wish into existence
A feeling so unbearable
So remotely distinguishable
As agony and numbness

Strong enough to prolong mental instability
an emotion that can devastate the very inner core
of a human being
and wrench the very meaning of life from one’s grasp
leaving in its wake
a sentiment of internal bleeding...
