dry leaves curled under
nature turns brown and lifeless
earth cries out for relief
P.R.Deremer
Cleaning teeth, what a relief,
When you know where they have been,
What I forced them to eat today
Really was obscene.
Breath of deep relief
Escaped as a soft whisper
Lost in the dark night
Ending a tortuous past
Closing forever cycles
before the refreshing wind of night
I unload what's hurting me much
and stay with the suave relief of Porto wine!
no relief in sight
war's red skies once blue and white...
tired eyes wide with fright

. . . such relief, such ease
itchy, consummated sneeze
cathartic release . . !
When I take my pain relief pills
the pain slows down
But then
I forget
to take another one
because the pain slowed down
cancer survivor
eight years with a clean record
feeling some relief
year nine is a killer year
cancer takes body hostage
Balanced on a wire so sharp ---
I wince each time I breathe ---
A sudden exit from my life,
would bring such sweet relief.
gray clouds swell overhead-
pouring tears of great relief…
drenching parched cactus.

Beast of a beauty
Raw power with soft edges
Couldn't ask for more,
I'm trembling in disbelief
My mind screaming for relief
What a relief it would be
to get away from you, My Heart,
with an empty and insensitive body
walking around like a Zombie
sigh
a stillness
muscles relax
anxiety gone
a beautiful calmness
on the tour to peace
a great relief
a deep breath
sigh
it is not alright to be insistent
that others adopt your belief
so stop the spam please
give us some relief
Book About Brief Creating Relief
book through we would leaf
was about a prepared brief
that caused much relief
Jim Horn
Gruelling summer
Relents with the squall this night
A bluish release

~ Who inspires my poetry
Form:
The narrow hall of mourning
pathway to my grief
Darkened by each memory lost
—there in stark relief
(Dreamsleep: May, 2022)
Not all abide
Time bide all aside
Beauty in eyes not lain
But we do sin
A world beyond life
There our soul punish or relief
So selfish is grief,
Believing only he may
Bring relief to quell,
Truly, but, there are others
Who shall help you much better.
Home alone in space
Timeless energy abides
All things postulate
Soft music under stoned stars
Relief from burned out being(s)
The mind is trying
On different disguises
Hoping for relief
I am going back to bed
To force myself into
Some healthier sleep
tears of joy
polish the medal
gold
tears of relief
greet
the baby's cry
tears of pain
fill His stripes
again & again
Us tortured souls.
Do not deserve to be tortured more.
In our short moments of bliss.
Which are respite.
And not sin.
