A Better Day
And it has been called
For a better day
With a new Reclamation
Where a new foundation
Has been Resurrected
In hopes' that our dreams'
And aspirations' may become
A Caldron'
For the mercy of God!

Ode To Viagra
I am in love and adoration
With my medical solvation
Which creates my own redemption...
I can munch on every day.

During breakfast, lunch and dinner
I can always salivate on
On that medical salvation...
I can do my reclamation....

My invasion
Retake the cake
Shifty snake
Answer the bell
Perpetually on the go
Around the edge
Of certainty’s glow
Burn marks you’ll see
Journey is stark
Through shadows deep
And fading sparks
The line is drawn
The path reclaimed
From fractured ground
I rise unchained

Reclamation
I guess you can say
That we are dissident's
From the Cross
Cleansed of sin
Fore God has offered us
A new beginning
From
Which we are gaining
Immortality
We have a new Heaven
From which
We are gaining
A new devotion and
There is a new vocation'
From which there will be
No recompense[ or recourse

Reclamation
And so it goes
from cradle to grave
From baby’s wail
to funeral laid

We reason, ponder,
dissent, and cry
As time repeats
and years go by

Sages offer
their grand excuse
In what’s left wanting
to feed the muse

But one thing’s certain
to never change
Death recycles
— the same old game

Rebirth and Reclamation
You don’t have to abandon previous beliefs
to embrace what presents to you now

As windows long open whose portals of light
wrap around each new vision—enshroud

Those messages ancient and all messages new
interlock like the fingers of God

The truth by dimension delivering you whole
—new lightning reclaiming the rod

The Defamation
I know what to her is core:
You with a killing horn gore
And men who’d called her A Whore;
Her image in The Street tore;
Clothes such as she never wore
Claiming: she had them, for sure …

And I know what she is sure:
In the heart can leave a sore,
Which for years enemies bore
And shall certainly, for more:
Like contrite hearts on the floor …

The war after Defamation
A bold fight for Reclamation....

Natural Reclamation
the forest
surrender to nature
white oaks fall

For the Haiku from the Heart Contest
Submitted by Ann Roske
Form : contemporary haiku
3-6-3 format

We've had a really wet and weird winter and have 4 white oaks that have fallen over on the back of our property. It is sad to see them go down, but Mother Earth will reclaim and re-purpose them. This is my small tribute to that wonderful and mysterious process - circle of life....

CIRCLE OF LIFE
A two edged knife that deluges us
With both the midlife and afterlife
Like a tempest,
It sways us to ruination and obscurity
Then hoists us to reclamation and lucidity
The circle of life!

It steers us through despair and hope
And leaves us in a state of mélange
Where the failure to reset  once more
Becomes the anchor of our setback
And the attempt to reignite dead flames
Births the strength to thrive!

Listen to poem:
In Reverence of Autumn
David J Walker

I see the traces of
A stream
Flowing through the
canopy of downed leaves
That have changed colors
In the gray places of
the cold ground now
Ruled by Fall

It is complete
	It is all

In natures cycle
A reclamation of life
We mistakenly believed
Belonged to us

It is complete
	It is the call

That has settled in a
Mist holding the note
In reverence of Autumns
Firm but gentle hand...

A Musical Narcotic
I rush to the dance floor
The first chords of “Night Fever” command it
The crowd clamors for more
Their sighs of approval demand it

The room is bedazzled, hypnotic
The pulse sets the rhythm, heart beat, dance feet
I smolder in musical narcotic
Focused in song, inside myself, complete

Alas, the beat subsides in sudden pause
     As I’ve reached my destination
Radio off, rewinding what was
     A temporary reclamation...
